Yes, we are at war, a war that was declard on us, not just Americans, but all Westerners, over 20 years ago. This is nothing new, such human garbage has been doing this to people like you and me since they declared this war. They wish to fight us and kill us over there and in our own homeland. There is no vaccuum, we must fight them and eliminate them or risk the ending of our very way of life. This is what is at stake, a war that has been happening for over 20 years and which will take much more than 20 more years to run its course. It is a war of idiologies as much as it is of bombs and bullets. This is a war we must fight and win if human civilization is to move forward.

WTS law and oral law
by lurk inhas the wts commited the same folly as the writers of the oral law?
in a magazine some years ago there was an article on the oral law.
it discribed how the oral law was developed to be like a fence around the writen law to prevent ppl from breaking the writen law.the article showed how the priests, who invented the law ,were laying a burden on jehovahs ppl that the didnt need ,sort of saying how wrong and misdirected the priests were.

Criticism of Bush from ME
by Yerusalyim inas you all know, i'm a supporter of bush...and the war against terror, and the war in iraq.
here's my issues with the bush administration thus far.. prescription drug benefit: quite simply....we can't afford it.
public health care: not that bush supports this (yet) for all you proponents of public health care...let me give you an example of how this will work.

They didn't have much food, water, electricity under Saddam. The money from "oil for food" was being channeled directly to Saddam. and half the country was impoverished. The US is being criticized by iraqis because they are not providing ENOUGH security, not too much of it.
I think Bush's domestic agenda has been an effort to placate the left and win him some moderate votes. In my opinion its a complete mistake because not only are they stupid programs, but there is no placating the left and you are going to win the moderate vote by manning the country through good economic times. The economy seems to be rolling and I think thats good enough for the swing vote.
Still, when it comes to national security, Kerry's whole attitude scares the living crap out of me.

This is really a hard question because everyone has a different viewpoint. If you believe that abortion is wrong one may think you should feel as guilty as if you were to have murdered someone in the past. On the other hand if someone thinks its ok then of course they are going to tell you not to feel guilty any more than you would for cutting your hair.
What you need to ask yourself is what you believe. A lot of people confuse morals and religion and they are two seperate things. Sometimes our morals dictate our religion and sometimes our religious beliefs dictate our morals, but you can have one without the other. So take religion out of the equasion and ask yourself, what do you believe? When does human life begin and when is it ok to terminate a life? Certainly we would all (well maybe most here) agree that killing a newborn baby is wrong. But what are your feelings about a full term fetus? Or a fetus at 6 months, or 3 months, or a zygote? The moral dillema lies within you, no matter who you ask, they are going to give you an answer based upon their own moral beliefs.
Its the easy way out to lean on the morality of others as a crutch to support your decisions, but the real challenge in life is coming up with your own morality and leaning on that. Sure you can take as examples other people, religious material, secular material etc, but the answer lies not within any of us here, but yourself. And with yourself is the only place that you are going to find peace with your decision.
