  hello everyone, been browsing the forum for quite a while now(about a year) and decided its time to post.

  i'm male, just turned 36 on the first of april, i've been in a the process of fading for about two years now, not that easy having come from a witness family.

  i've been in doubt about this religion for most of my life, but finally built up the courage to stop going to the meetings, finding out now how big and beautiful this world is and realizing how much i missed out on "real" life!.....i started to fade about the time i was being pushed, yes pushed into becoming a ms. i did not want to have that duty, and i say duty, not "privelege" as they would say because thats what it is, a duty!

  Pink slips at Bethel

  does anyone still have any friends at bethel?

  it seems that there is a massive layoff at bethel in all three american complexes.

  the layoff is supposed to affect everyone between the ages of 35-50 or maybe 60. i feel sorry for persons who chose to stay there, they gave up going to college, possible job offers or making a decent amount of money, having children, the list can go on and on.

  I'm a newbie here and an Atheist, but have a wife and four kids fanatical JWs. ; Last Fall I toured the facilities at Paterson and the Farm with the family. ; Was very inpressed with the printing facilities. ; However the talk at that time there was about the Brooklyn staff and what they did if anything. ; I'm not sure if it has already been mentioned on this thread but could the layoff be mostly at Brooklyn because all the printing is being done at the Farm? ; I'm a little curious about it and why it's happening if true.

  I was in Bethel for 10 years. Since the GB stopped all new contruction in BROOKLYN, the DESIGN/BUILD department and the CONTRUCTION dept. which are headquartered in Brooklyn suffered greatly. The residence building at Livingtston was/is being vacated because it was/is being put on the market. Then you had Export Shipping and all the Printing facilities relocated from Brooklyn to Wallkill. Mainly the "thought would be lifers" BROOKLYN Bethelites have more to fear than WALLKILL or PATTERSON bethelites. - wac

  i've got the conversation my 'laywer' jason had with the head of my appeal hearing ghram, he refues to answer any questions about the recorder being tampered with, but denies that anyone named 'sean' was at the meeting, then later he talks about talking to 'sean' at the meeting!.

  this guy is so desprate to cover his own ass.

  btw, i will testify that the bag was closed when i was in the room before i left and that it was open after i got back.

  it takes quite awhile to download once you click the download link...it's probably a jam up on the server where it is located. just click the link, make yourself some coffee or something, drink it, fill it up, and the link should be half way downloaded then take a 10 min. power nap. If you have dial up...take a vacation. :-)

  webroot was eating up too many resources of my PC. Also I use Kerio as firewall:

  I had the same problem with webroot but it went away. Who knows.

  Kerio is awesome. I was using ZONEALARM but it would it would eat up the processor at certain intervals. The web site forum mentions this problem but the replies from the company make it look like it's a user error. Then again ZoneAlarm is free and workable and it's more easy to use than the others.

  the water inmersion or saying yes to the trick questions?.

  if b then you can say you never said yes...they would need to prove it with 2 witnesses which they will never come up with thus yout baptsim can be void and null?.
