i know that jehovah`s witnesses are the most loving people on this planet, and deserve all the kindness, consideration and love in return. they are spending their whole lives, trying to save ours. it is so easy to bring or put people down, but when one reads the scriptures in the correct context as they do, there is nothing any one can say against them.   if only we read jehovah`s word more often and study it as they do then there would be peace and love toward and for each other. may jehovah god be with you for ever.

i was raised a jw since childhood.

besides the emotional trauma that comes with being an outsider from the rest of the real world, my father was phsically, mentally and verbally abusive to my 2 younger sisters and i. apparently my mother seemd to be so brainwashed with the ideas of respect for headship and all the other bs she didn't do anything about the abuse.needless to say my father was also an elder, sheperding the flock while at home beating his children senseless.

after 20 years of this and all 3 children leaving home by the age of 16,something finally clicked in her head.

sorry to hear that your sister was so abused that she commited suicide........no one even cared, is a big clue, isn't it..................i'm glad you didn't commit suicide................ this site has alot the stuff you need to recover.

....what ever became of the journals you handed over to the elders?.......... can you get them back?........ they are yours!.......... lawyers should be reading them......

Possible changes forced by Dateline..?

my best friend told me today that her cousin (l) who is a jw (although an immoral, poor excuse for a mother jw) called her to tell her that two elders stopped by her house this morning to inform her that her (recent) husband had molested an 8 year old girl in the past.

(do not know how recently) .

what i'm curious about is if this is an individual occurance, or if this is happening around the country.

the dateline program and all the media attention that bill bowen is getting is working good on the public.......... it is putting a stop to alot of their "increase" in membership............ as far as active members go, though,.............they are under the influence of the propaganda that the gov body puts out..... they don't listen to anything else................. even if the gov body settles with bill bowen, for a policy change about the 2 witnesses........... nothing will change within the organization................. elders disfellowship members and reprove members, based on who they like and who they consider "expendable".......... a "pioneer elder" for example, who gives good talks and brings members or donations in, and places lots of literature will still be protected by the organization, no matter what he gets involved in........... and any children coming forward accusing him of molestation will be ridiculed and labled liars and silenced.

without the law siuts to cripple the power of the gov body and their lawyers, nothing will change.........except that elders will learn to become more expert at covering their tracks........they will be shredding documents, and silencing members more than ever............ meanwhile children will still be in danger................ just my opinion.

hi outlaw............. well,....... i think bills motives are good....... even though i disagree with his policy of trying to fix the organization, i think ray franz already tried that......i guess i need to keep in mind that bill bowen is still a jw...........and so are alot of the victims............................... i wish hawkaw would have not tried to tell me bill had nothing to do with the law suits........bill bowen is in charge..........that just proves hawkaw will say anything to further his adgenda. ............and yes, i think hawkaw and hillary are his puppets............ bill is doing a great job with his site....... i just disagree with him.

ps........ i don't like the idea of bill sending his puppet hawkaw to discourage victims from finding other lawyers and suing for big money.......... i don't think he should do that.

bills motives are good...he is a great man, like ray franz....... and his site is helping victims....i was a little mad to hear about $50,000.......... but understand it will end up more.........bill has mentioned it's not about the money, it about the victims......... i agree, but......it's about the money to the gov body.......they care nothing about love, truth, justice, policy changes or victims.

i can only try to help the victims who are still being abused................ the way i'm trying to do that is to get victims to sue for big money, whether they want it or not....... and not to cut a deal with the gov body for a policy change that bill keeps mentioning............ i am encouraging victims to sue, each one, for as much as they can get,.......and they will do so much damage to the organization, that it will never have the control it had again...........and victims won't be silenced........then the abuse will stop.

bill seems to have a different idea......he thinks he can bring about a policy change with alot of publicity and education.

hi naeblis.......i guess i just don't like what i think bills plan is.

silent lambs has hundreds of mind blowing cases,...... and only 2 or so are being advised to sue............no matter how much money they win, bill can then use that as leverage to get the gov body to make a policy change, in exchange for the rest of the victims not doing the same thing......... the gov body will agree to the policy change, and make a deal with the rest of the victims, for a certain amount of money, and the victims will sign the legal agreement, and recieve a small settlement........... after a while the victims will realize that nothing has changed within the watchtower, despite the policy change, because you can't fix a cult.......... and now they can't sue........cause they signed a legal agreement not to.

you can't fix a cult........... just my opinion....... i think bill has great motives, so did ray franz.......

i guess it's none of my business.......... except every time i put up a post for lawyers and victims to sue for big money.........bill's team comes and slams the thread......while they deny they are slamming it.

i agree out law,......... bill bowen is the victims best shot at justice right now,........ and his loyal followers are trying to keep it that way............. anyone who suggests victims find other lawyers and sue for big money is slammed by his loyal followers, and ridiculed.

i never said bill bowen had bad motives............. ray franz had great motives too.............. he eventually got kicked off the gov body for all of his great motives......... then after a few more years of still trying to fix the cult, he was disfellowshipped.................. in my opinion trying to fix a cult is a wast of time.

bill is in control of most of the victims........ and most of them are being talked into holding off on suing, by him and the only legal counsil he recommends........... while bill does the same thing that ray franz did.........try to make policy changes............ and anyone who suggests victims sue for big money is slammed by his loyal followers.

..........eventually some victims will realize that they can only make a difference for the children being abused as we speak, by suing for big money and doing major damage to the watchtower society............ maybe bill bowen will eventually come to that conclusion too.
