how important is/was spirituality to you when considering a person as a husband/wife?
did you expect the person to have similar spiritual beliefs and goals?
if s/he didn't have similar beliefs, was it important to be able to discuss spirituality respectfully ?
I agree spiritual compatability is important,
it's religion that causes the problems! .........and all that can come to a head when children enter the picture. having kids changes every relationship......(I'm not saying in a bad way, but the relationship is changed by not just having to think about only two anymore).
What's important is good communication, and knowing where you stand before you're on shaky ground.
my boyfriend is so messy!
i just arrived here at his apartment and seriously, the place is gross.
he has improved quite a bit since he met me... but i surprised him and he wasn't expecting me so the place is nasty.
I'm messy, althought I really appreciate tidiness. but I'm nervous......
it looks as though jeffs avatar is about to pounce on stilla's!!

i was peacefully reading an old copy of stephen cox' article "can the truth survive the internet", and all of a sudden i realize that the instrumental music playing is the d*mn kingdom melodies.
it was actually pretty good.
it was that instrumental cd released sometime back with a lot of harp, piano, and woodwinds in it.
I can still appreciate the kingdom melodies, always liked singing. Haven't sung those ones for many years now.
some months ago while visiting my parents I found my daughter helping her JW grandmother to compose a kingdom melody cell phone ring tone! they love it...
ya gotta laugh..........
great wedding photos Jason, gave me goosebumps.

this caught my eyes and reminded me when as a ministerial servant that we had to go into the back room for instructions from the po (not very clever man), he tried his best to explain to us ms and elders about the wearing of beards in the congregation.
he must have gone on and on for 30 minutes about not having beards, but kept impressing that this was not a rule, but beards should not be worn, but its not a rule, just dont expect to have any privileges if you grow one on your face and wear it (sounds like you wear it like a tie he he) but we are not making it a rule, just dont wear a beard.
nice pic, but I can see the devil's light shining in your eyes!......oops that's the pooch not you!
cute puppy.
so how did the elders meeting go???
I remember my uncle being in an awful workplace accident when he got badly burned, and he wasn't able to shave due to scars on his face. I remember my family defending his reasons for having a beard at that time, not an official complaint, but I know eyebrows were raised.
truly pathetic
a 5 page letter was read last night from the gb in reference to the hospital liaison committe.
i never knew those guys had so much power!
i tried best i could to write down all the important points word for word as they were said: (apparently the letter will not be posted on the board but anyone is free to speak to an elder with any questions concerning the letter:
Taxi drivers deliver babies all the time, that doesn't mean they're specialist OBGYN (no offence to taxi drivers intended!)

i'm curious, when you made your decision to leave the org.
did you do it before or after looking at this kind of internet sites?.
in my case i made my decision without ever looking any of this websites.
I left nearly 25 years ago, I don't think the internet existed then (scary thought). I wish that the support of this and other sites had been around at that time for me.
best wishes

jwd news, feb 01, 2006 .
in a move not surprising to ex members of the pervasive sect known as jehovahs witnesses, the watchtower bible and tract society issued a censorship request to google -- the worlds largest internet search software company.
although it was a privately issued request, jwd news has obtained a copy of the formal request issued monday from one of watchtowers dissident factory workers.
you guys!
memory is not my strong suit, and i found that i would invariably either forget on friday night to turn off my alarm, or forget on sunday night to turn it back on.
the only variance to this was when i forgot both -- which was frequent.. so i'd have both a disrupted weekend sleep-in, and a rushed or even late-to-work monday morning.. i finally bit the bullet and purchased the neverlate 7-day alarm clock, from http://www.americaninnovative.com/buy/.
it allows me to set a different alarm for every day of the week.
$40 for half a brick........I mean a magnificent example of design and technology!...............is surely worth it for a sound night's sleep without the worry that you're going to sleep in.
sleep like a baby Dave.......only no pooey daipers in the morning!! I hope.
