you have to be able to laugh at yourself sometimes.... here is one of my most embarassing moments.. i was in 7th grade and also the new kid in school.

this happened during one of our first big test's, i think it was my english glass but i am not sure.. i had bad gas for some reason that day and had been holding it in instead of "dusting the crops" in the hallways (which is a great way to shed your gas without having to claim it).

i am sitting in class trying to concentrate on the test while holding in my deadly gas with all the strength my buttcheeks could muster.

OK.............

well every year we go to a conference at the snow. Good way to tax deduct your ski trip.

anyway this day, a couple of years ago, we skiied hard all day, had no lunch. then went straight to lectures in our ski clothes. We had happy hour there, got a little tipsy, then went back to another couples unit and got a little more tipsy. Rolled back to our place around 7.30pm.

stuck a frozen curry in the microwave, said "i'm not feeling well, going to lie down", tripped over a mattress my youngest had made up at the foot of our bed. fell flat on my face, soft landing but i wouldn't have felt it anyway. Then couldn't help myself, the chunder flowed!

Embarrassing thing was a friend of ours had crashed at our unit for a couple of days, he was in the lounge room at the time. He fed the kids for us and got them to bed. He had to leave early the next morning to go back to work. He left this classic caricature of me and my husband with bloodshot eyes and hammers banging our heads.

there's an article in there about how the male contraceptive is on it's way.

versions of a male implant is being trialled by who and australian researchers.. the article quotes a london professor, john guillebaud who said that "surveys show about 2/3 of men worldwide in all cultures say they would take a male pill".

how else can a person justify that jehovah will destroy 6 billion people, innocent children included?

i could never accept that i deserved salvation whereas almost no one else did.

it put me on permanent spiritual edge because i thought the slave is right so the doctrine of destruction must be, but my heart always knew it was wrong.

It confused and upset me as a child growing up a jw. It did not become any easier to understand as i got older either.

Letting go...a letter to my brother

dear friends and fellow sojourners,.

as i posted sometime back, i have been grappling with my last fear from the wtbts--that is, saying good-bye to my mother and brother who are still in the organization by revealing that not only have i left but am now what they consider an apostate.

it has come to me, that i must do this to be finally free of the last vestiges of "hold" that the organization still has on me.

i need your help to continue my lawsuit against the watchtower society and the doctor who the watchtower society arranged for to give my daughter arsenic.

the wts lawyer, hlc members and the doctor deceived bethany and lied to her, convincing her that arsenic would cure her.

bethany was convinced that arsenic could cure her and was curing her.
