  "seven times" in Daniel applied to whom?

  this is something of intrest to all.so far many have learned that the "seven times" in dan 4:25 had seemed to apply that the 2520 yrs from the date 607bc took us to the date 1914. seeing now that conclusive evidence that the 607bc date is wrong and the date 587 or 586bc is the correct date, this puts the calulations out of wack.

  so who did the "seven times"apply to?

  well, if the whole chapter 4 and verses 20+21 of chapter 5 is read, we can see that the "seven times" only applied to nebuchadnezzar himself- and no one else.

  15 “Therefore, when YOU catch sight of the disgusting thing that causes desolation, as spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in a holy place, (let the reader use discernment,) 16 then let those in Ju·de´a begin fleeing to the mountains. 17 Let the man on the housetop not come down to take the goods out of his house;

  There are lessor and greater fulfillments always. The Eagle represents the United States in war against those in the Holy land. The military jets with wings are the weapons that cause desolation.The Holy Ones fled to the mountains seeking shelter from the evil beast in the air and in the fields.

  The people were seen on the housetops when the great Tsunami came and swept them all away in death. The fulfilment of prophecy is in the Middle East. Open your eyes and wait upon the Master Jehovah and the lessor Master Jesus Christ. Why do you still keep looking?

  If Jesus was foretelling that Daniel 4 had a second fulfillment some 2, 520 years after it was written, then he knew when the master was coming.

  To Terminate trangression means to put an end to it. This has not been fulfilled. Men are still acting wickedly and I am witness to this fact.

  To finish off sin requires that Jehovah, the Almighty God take sovereignty in all the universe. This has not occured as man is still bringing the earth to ruin. I am witness to this fact.

  To make atonement means that people must all repent. This has not occured and I am witness to this fact.

  Therefore the seventy weeks prophecy has not been fulfilled in its entirety, amen.......

  The seventy weeks prophecy was given to Daniel, therefore to the chosen ones from the seed of Abraham, or of the Twelve Tribes of Israel who were taken into captivity. The Seventy Weeks can be calculated to the modern day by using Mathew 1:17 as a reference. Use 42 years as one generation in order to calculate if you care to. By the time you calculate this Jesus Christ will descend upon you asking you to put away the "Old scrolls" and prepare for the "New Scrolls".

  17 All the generations, then, from Abraham until David were fourteen generations, and from David until the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon until the Christ fourteen generations.

  The Holy Land has been brought to ruin by war, famine, earthquakes, and also by flood. Please compare the words of Jesus Christ, the King of the Jews, out of the book of Matthew. Jesus is not a humanly King of the Jews, but the King of the "New Jerusalem".

  Need some quick advice...

  my biweekly jdub visit is coming up here in a few hours, and i could use a bit of advice.... the lady knows i am a big time doubter, but she has some sort of personal mission to get my husband back into the truth (it makes me sick to write that) and get me in as well.

  she comes by at the exact same time every two weeks to drop of the new wts, reads some scripture, asks how i'm doing, blah blah blah.. i'm pretty polite to her, but i'm ready to kick it up a notch.

  any suggestions for something i could start with?

  Read the scriptures above and have an understanding. If you abstain from blood you will prosper. The end of verse 29 ends with "Good health to you".

  How can a person abstain from blood and die, but yet remain in good health? A person is not in "Good Health" if they voluntarily give up their life while abstaining from blood are they?

  Jehovah, your GOD is not Baal; therefore He does not ask that you give up your life, because Jehovah is a GOD of the living and not the dead. This is a main teaching that Jehovah hates with a passion.

  i have been a jw all my life, my sister and i are now in our late twenties and are so unhappy and after desparate attempts to keep up meeting attendance are not spiritually motivated.

  we in last few weeks have found some very disturbing things in our search such as the un involvement.

  after research on these things and use of the wt library the society speaks for it's self on these issues calling the un the "disgusting thing" that the book of daniel spoke about(wt 85' para.

  A gift of Law and Judgment under the Almighty GOD

  You think the law and judgment are a gift? Why does the Bible say it is a curse?

  Neh 10:29

  They cleaved to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;

  Gal 3:13

  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

  Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse...

  At the beginning of my journey and testing, Jehovah informed me that we would have a Love/Hate relationship. I later understood the meaning when I felt hatred within my being originating from satan and his demons, as they were being Judged by the Almighty GOD JAH. This holds true to the law where one reaps what they sow.

  What do you think? Is it a curse to be a sacrifice or a gift of love? The gift of Love comes from those willing to be a sacrifice in order to cleanse the sins of others, just as Jesus Christ did when he died upon the tree. Jesus felt and bore all sins which included those caused by satan and man. This is what is meant when he cryed out to his Father as he felt that he was being forsaken by Him.

  Honesty has a true and accurate understanding. I was chosen by JAH to fulfill the task and meaning o f the faithful slave upon the earth. As a member of the W.T.S. I was brought up with a good foundation for righteousness, and this group shunned mens wars which caused them to be chosen by JAH. There are a variety of chosen that I have met along the way directed by Holy Spirit. They consist and are from various beliefs and customs. This is so that I may witness how JAH the Almighty, in His infinite wisdom, will unite all nations under one teaching through His only begotten son Jesus Christ, AMEN.

  However, I am a true representative of Jehovah God in the end times and will be appointed as king upon the earth in the "New Jerusalem".   Please Help! I have been a JW all my life, my sister and I are now in our late twenties and are so unhappy and after desparate attempts to keep up meeting attendance are not spiritually motivated. We in last few weeks have found some very disturbing things in our search such as the UN involvement. After research on these things and use of the WT library the society speaks for it's self on these issues calling the UN the "Disgusting Thing" that the book of Daniel spoke about(WT 85' Para. 12) They are clearly in the wrong! Now with that said when I brought this to my husband's attenton among other things. He said Jehovah uses imperfect men to bring about his purposes of witnessing his name in all the earth and that if this is not the right religion then show me who is? he says according to scripture Jehovah will use an earthly organization to bring about his will. Can anyone identify his thinking and give me some ideas on how to examine this further? He was raised in the truth all his life as well and is third generation in. I will say he does show signs of seeing a new reality. My mother has already wrote us off as apostates ,even though everything we brought her was backed up with extensive researched facts!

  The fulfilment of prophecy is what dictates whether an organization has been misleading its followers or not. Please compare the events in the Middle East as fulfillment of all that Jesus Christ announced during his time upon the earth. Jesus Christ is the only Faithful and True Witness of JAH the Almighty as JAH will prove all men as liars. There is no single organization that can hold truth in its grasp, as all men have corrupted the teachings of the orginal scrolls through deceptive means inspired by satan and his demons.

  It is true that some teachings of the W.T.S. are incorrect and cause much injury to many followers of JAH. However, their intent is what Jehovah will be judging them by, and not their misunderstandings of what is written. The United Nations in all of its true meaning as an organization of Peace have helped persons stand up for their rights in many countries. Use whatever means are available to help those in need in whatever capacity they offer. They were recognized in the United Nations as a non-governmmental agency. Where is the error in this according to all that is Holy and acceptable to GOD? Learn to forgive one another and Jehovah and Jesus will forgive you also. A brother is one that is seeking out truth and makes their best attempt at being righteous.

  Please stay with the fight in spirit and overlook their misgivings until Jesus descends upon mankind before the years end. All have been misled by satan and his manly offspring except for the chosen of which I am. Contact me directly if you have any further question from Jah Himself as He is with me in spirit. This is how truth is anounced in the end times. I reside in Colorado, a red state by name and also by political affiliation.   i've been reading some posts referencing "barb" and "the news," so i wasn't wondering if someone could give me some background (i've looked a few pages back and can't find anything).. thanks.

  Big News?

  Hmm, perhaps it might be that the True Faithful and Discreet Slave was revealed a little over a year ago, and that "JEHOVAH GOD" is truly here to take over. Hmm, or perhaps that Jesus Christ is a Mighty God raised by his Father and is about to reign upon the earth of mankind before the years end.......Hmmmm I wonder.......
