  Are Men's Rights Laughable?

  reading over the woody allen thread i noticed a couple things but didn't want to side track the "discussion".

  1) woody allen is creepy.

  2) nobody really seemed to care that his ex-wife was abusive towards her children.. an example i think is perfect was the release of twilight where you would see lineups of 30-40 year old women making very inappropriate comments about a 16 year old boy.

  Now imagine, & rightly so, the uproar if it were men attempting to remove the clothing of a young girl in the workplace.......

  I would hope that she (the young girl) would report the attempted assault to the proper authorities.

  If you are in a position to do so (nothing to lose), test them and see how "Christian" they really want to be.

  Remember: "... perfect love throws fear outside, because fear exercises a restraint. Indeed, he that is under fear has not been made perfect in love."

  Meeting all the admittedly loving bros and sis at the hall. Loving them as individuals and persons who are trying to be Christians (they really do) while at the same time despairing internally at the prison we have locked ourselves into as members of the group.

  I don't know the fanbase of the Twilight films (although, I actually thought it was a teenage-girl bait flick), but wasn't the point of its male protagonist that he was a centuries-old creature... having/retaining the appearance of a high school senior? Old and experienced, but still youthful in aspect?

  New congregation accounting system

  i'm sure i read a thread here about the new congregation accounting procedures.

  i ask because i handle the accounts in our cong and in our part of the world the new accounting system has just arrived whereby local congs do not have their own account any longer, but all funds outside of basic monthly costs is forwarded to an account controlled by the org.

  this is causing huge confusion in our cong as we have to work out how much we need to keep back for monthly costs and the new idea is that you send all your extra cash to the org and if you need it back you can ask for it but we don't know how easy or hard it would be to do that.
