  I am currently watching the 2012 French production of this series (IMDB link).

  - The 2012 French version was based upon the 2004 French film, and the first series ("season") is excellent, so far.

  - The 2014 American version is a remake of the ongoing French series. I have not yet watched the remake.

  hello all, i know st.patrick's day is about over.. i was just curious how many of you observed the holiday.

  i live in the usa in the south west.

  where i live we have a large population of native americans and hispanics.. so st.patrick's day is low key.. we wear green and talk about drinking green beer.. i started to wonder what a real celebration would entail.. i dressed as a lepercaun for story time..

  a. Is a baptized JW, who is inactive in "publishing" (formal field service, and submission of time and product reports) for 6 months, 1 year, or even longer, announced to the congregation as "no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses"?

  b. Can a baptized JW, who has been inactive in publishing [and/or meeting attendance] for 6 months, 1 year, or even longer, simply return and engage in publishing activities and time report submission - without further ado? [Such unchallenged return to activity being tacit acknowledgment that such person has been, and continues to be an accepted and recognized member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.]

  Over 7yrs as a JW and I just found out I'm not supposed to buy Girl Scout Cookies?

  i'm still in the matrix(the truth), but 'morpheus' and his team are valiantly working on a way to get me out.

  in the meantime, everyday i am discovering so much about being a jw i never knew, like don't buy girl scout cookies, that i keep asking myself "what have i got myself into".. maat.

  really lame for a first post, but i figure i should start some where.

  The script is a formal 'book hand' - for official texts, not everyday, cursive writing ... such as a personal letter to the congregation purports to be.

  In my opinion, you do not have to answer every question that is asked of you, to carry on communication.

  This is even easier to do when writing (email): time and distance will allow you to shape and develop your reply artfully, expressing only what you want to reveal of your heart to your mother.

  So, you can acknowledge - even sympathize with - her concern... then smoothly move on to an engaging, more delightful account of your daily activities.

  Once you feel that your relationship with our mother is less fragile, and subject to abrupt interruption, that might be an appropriate time to look for "triggers" to awakening her.
