how many trees are cut down so the wbt$ can print literature that most jehovah`s witness`s will never place and most people don`t want?..how many forests are destroyed so the wbt$ can print articles that will be obsolete when the inevitable "new light" arrives?..besides the destruction of lives,is the wbt$ destroying the enviroment?...outlaw

That would save tons and tons of paper a day even in a small town like where I live. I don't want any stupid flyers or pamflets that just make my recyleing box heavier to carry down the stairs!
I though the internet would get rid of a LOT of unneccessary waist of paper.
so my wife just got a job at a huge company where a witness friend works.
we only have 1 car... well my friend cant carpool with my wife to work because it would be imporoper for a man and a woman to be in the car alone.

Yep, I NEVER understood the chaperone thing.........IF they had so much "faith",,,,,,,they're precious "jehovah" would know anyways..........so why don't they let they're "Jehovah" do the chaperoning?????????????????? HUH?
after years of research, i think i've finally come across the biggest hole in the basic doctrine of jw's .
they say that there is no hell...but that you can live for eternity in a world full of nothing but witnesses.... .
...i'm not sure, but i think this statement contradicts itself??????

I went to enough BEFORE I was adub, and studied a lot WHILE I was a dub to jus knowreligion is a crock.
I really like what the bleep, though, and Converations with God.
Very practical, and simple. Makes sense with out any inner conflict like with religion.
i don't mean to be trite or argumentative, but i keep hearing all the time about having a "personal relationship with jesus" as the solution to leaving the witlesses.
for the life of me, i really don't know what this term means.
i can only compare it to its literal counterpart, i.e.
I don't see Jesus as some all mighty powerful being. ( I don't believe in the bible)
I just think he was a good example.
I think just following your concience and common sense is the best way to true happiness.
If you wanna have a relationship with God, look within YOURSELF.
He wispers to everyone in some way or another............it is not something to find outside of yourself in my opinion.
I don't believe in religion at all, and even most of the bible I think is false, the rest taken with a grain of salt.
I think the one good thing about my time as a dub, was learning specifically WHY all religion is false. Once you realize, no religion dosn't mean NO GOD, and the bible is false, you realize, hey................mabey God IS a way cooler person that you think, to creat us this way, with the things we love, he must love the same things as us.
Music, food, fun, humour, friends...etc.......being NON-judgmental...................that is the one thing in the bible that I think IS dead on............to be happy and have peace.........NOT judeg ourselves, or ANYONE esle.
But of course following common sense by doing unto others as we would have done to us as well. Just common sense really.

i've read a lot of theories regarding the roots of christianity, but being honest i have never gotten to the real "truth" about it.
if you believe that christianity was very deeply influenced by earlier pagan faiths, what real evidence do we have to support this?.
if you believe that christianity was not influenced by these earlier pagan faiths, how do you counter the claims that aspects of christianity are very similar to many aspects of earlier religious beliefs?.
