How many Billions of people on this earth live in
poverty? Do you really think the collapse of the dollar
means anything to them. These people actually HAVE
to live EVERY day. If the almighty dollar should fall the
prophecy about the first being last will be fullfilled because
WE that had would be devastated.Those who never did
will be life as usual and WE who want to live on would
need to take lessons from them. Also that thing about
being rich-camels-eye of needle-would take place because
sad to say most of us would lay down and die. But this will
not produce THE new system just one more system in the line of humanity .

Was Noah and HIS family godly or ungodly or did
they just follow directions. A new system was thus
created new rules and new covenants and according
to your way of thought "ungodliness". Adam and Eve
were kicked out of a system started a new one and
produced "ungodliness". Oh BTW YHWH promised
Noah he would never destroy again on account of

it was a time of deep depression, confusion, fear, and paranoia for me, as i had just 3 weeks before discovered that everything i had believed for 27 years was only a pipe dream.. everyone was very welcoming, but after only a few posts, i got so afraid i had to stop.
i was fearful of revealing too much, being somehow discovered, and of the possibility of saying the wrong thing, incurring the ire of my betters here.

I thought the END came in OCT. of 1962 it was never
more IMMINENT was it? Not before or since. You Know
maybe we got a bye on this whole end of the world thing
like in Jonah's time because we didn't set those fire crackers
off YA' KNOW.Now that we are like god capable of mass destruction

by thinker inthe wt claims that each "day" in genesis (chap.1) is really 7000 yrs.
can anyone provide an explaination of this belief?
please list references from wt literature or scripture that backs up this idea.. personally, i can find nothing; which is interesting since so much jw doctrine and teaching hinges on this number "7000".. thinker

Blondie, good info-I picked up on the insight move to
thousands of years and laughed. Because of course
I was taught by old dim light that a day was 7000 years.
You know a lot of the faithful don't even know about the
change. If they do it's because they got a new light bulb.
Some scholars think a creative day is 12000 years. Of course the WBTS won't have enough light on that for at least another
5000 years or so.As for me I think a creative day is as long as needed.
If it takes 100million years to create something well
that was a day. After all if HE could just snap HIS fingers
and so it is,why isn't this creative weak just a regular
