all through recorded history there have been people who have pointed to the calamities, horrors and disasters in the world, and preached that this signified an imminent end of the world.
this isnt even unique to christianity, which started off with strong millennial expectations in the 1st century, and for the most part retains the same expectations almost 2000 years later.

Sonoita------It is now 7:30pm in the great state of AZ. has a crime or an adverse event occured in Tucson?
Meaning a bomb has been found or one has gone off
not a prank call that was called in.Also these people(my dad was there last week) were

Lee---my man you are assuming way too many things.
True story-----when I was in high school one of the
years whenever their was a report of all day rain as
soon as it started to rain(and he knew that the buses
wouldn't get there until the time of calling it a full day of
school) a student called up the school and reported a bomb threat . Now they must evacuate the school. Being that it was raining they couldn't let us gather at the
football field so they sent us home. That year we had numerous amounts of half days. So you see it is possible
one or more of your prize teenage witness's just wanted
to go home or maybe an elder or two. Lets see someone
plans on making a statement goes ahead and plants the
bomb then calls authorities to stop his plan, I'm not buying
it.One more thing on your original post you said "innocent "
people please give innocent a rest will you please.
This is in Tucson I bet you a million dollars out of all
the thosands of people their, some were illegal Mexicans
(not that I think there is anything wrong with that but it
does make them guilty of something) also are you telling me in AZ with the massive amount of child abuse case's there were no pedaphlies amongest the thousands I could go on. What I'm saying is thanks for the report but just the facts man just the facts. Lets leave the spin for the network news and that rag called the watchtower.

by Englishman inso beijing is going to hold the olympic games in 2008. unbelieveable.. human rights are now no longer an issue, apparently.. some would say that the chinese government will now be all luvvy-duvvy to its people so that they don't get the elbow before the games start.
taiwan is over the moon - no invasion for at least 6 years.. ok, thats the heavy stuff over for a minute!
out of curiosity, lets see which country you would like to see hold the olympic games in 2012.. oh yes, you can't vote for your own country!.

Kismet what does a sporting event have to do with
human rights. What good effect of not letting the chinesse
have the olympics would come to there citizens. Even
the Dalhi Lama thought it was a good idea.BTW---How did I bad mouth the U.S.? Unless stating
a FACT in your oppinion means I bad mouthed something.I'm thrilled at living anywhere it sure beats the alternative.
Of course being a white american in china sure wouldn't
be much fun. Maybe as much fun as japanesse AMERICANS
had during the second world war when they were sent to
camps because they had slanted eyes. That wasn't very
long ago in the whole sceme of things.(i guess you would

Seeker first let me tell you I really liked your slant on
things on the "American bashing thread"Now I love music and i'm sort of lost on what your getting at.
As for me I sort of go around in an ever growing circle.
Like Dylan I went from folk and country to rock and roll
back to folk than rock, jazz---R&B---to blues---onto rap
finding things I enjoy in each. Thus returning off and on
to each with Claptons Guitar and Dylan's Lyrics as the
cornerstones.Hey it's friday night and I here the whistle's blowing and
the beat thumbing and I have a dime to spend on
Donna Summer and the "BAD GIRLS" so really if the
song is good it is good even if it's DISCO. -

people worldwide? Lets start with our own back yard

then we can widen are small sphere of influence to
include more people. Until then let the atheltes compete

after all it is REALLY up to them to get there own human
rights-----it's there backyard.
