| Abstract: | F.'s essay discusses the verbal system of Biblical Hebrew from the vantage point of the philosophy of science. According to F., the problem of induction (i.e., that we cannot be sure that an interpretation of a set of data is the right one because there are other possible interpretations) was ignored when the four-component verbal model (Imperfect, Imperfect consecutive, Perfect and Perfect consecutive) for Biblical Hebrew took shape. F. goes on to provide background on how the understanding of the Hebrew verbal system evolved, reviews the shift to an aspectual understanding of the system, describes attacks against the four-component model, and offers suggestions for future research. i'm pretty sure my fade in this town is sucessful.
i would like to have the january '07 and feburary '07 watchtowers and the latest library cd.
i don't want to go back to the kh to get them.. i have two friends who are still in ( they think i am in too).
If I go back to the KH I will be put on their radar again. It took me a long time to get off their radar.
I don't care about their "radar" but I don't want to answer a bunch of questions...or be the victim of love-bombing. I could easily pick a KH where no one knows me.
Has anyone every picked up literature at the KH with little or no "interference"?

If you need literature, go to the Kingdom Hall and order them. That is how it has always been.

ok..many of you read what happened..our house was egged and so was my sisters car that was parked here, and "frosty" was attacked!!
I'm not an attorney (although my mom is and my grandmother was a judge) and this is not legal advice....just one homeowner to another.
Consider this: If you now know everything about that evening and do nothing it could be argued (perhaps successfully) that you are tacitly OK with their visit. Now suppose one of the JWs, who might be uninsured, develops a back problem that supposedly occurred during his "visit" to your home?
It is a stretch but, might he sue you for his injury? If you think that is a stretch, think of the "attractive nuisance" laws. Think of robbers who are shot while committing the robbery who sue the person being robbed. There is an endless list of possibilities. Especially considering the animus that exists and the attempts to prevaricate
My only point is that you don't know what you don't know. Perhaps a report to the police without actually pressing charges would be a reasonable response.
Stranger things have happened. I would want to have an official record of what actually happened.
i have been wondering and trying to find some information into whether the wtbs has ever played the race game.
when i see pictures of the society of old, all i see is white people.
i don't see any blacks, asians, hispanic, or mixed (black and white or whatever) couples.
A more compelling analysis might take into consideration what society as a whole was saying at the time.
Judging these quotes by 21st century standards is suspect.
Judging the quotes by how deviant the quotes are from "mainstream" thought and publications of that time would provide more insight.
