This is sickening and disturbing to think that American soldiers did this.
by StoneWall inwhen i first read over this on msnbc news today, it was truly morbid of just one soldier to do something like this.. but to think that 12 are being implicated tells you how truly sick a lot in the u.s. forces are.. what is the difference between what they did and what hitlers soldiers did?.
here is the link for the whole article:.

So, was the World Trade Center a military target?
I don't agree with this war 100% either, but I also think America can't let Islam extremists kill our people.
The Islam agenda is JOIN US OR DIE! Stonewall, you probably should find out which way is east and west and buy you a prayer rug.

Why do we seem to be the only ones who have to follow the Geneva Convention?

Casting aside what little you learned about God and Christ- are you thrilled with the future of Mankind?
I must admit I didnt read the thread.
Am I thrilled? Nope.
What little I learned about Christ? What makes you think I learned a little? What makes you think you are following him. Read your damn bible, moron.
If you would read it ALONE, you would see that Christ never asked for a GB or anything. Love your damn neighbor. Is that hard? Well, yeah. The GB (who seems to have taken Christ's place) Do not judge until you are prepared to be judged. In other words walk a few miles in someone's moccasions and STFU.
Self-righteous bastard that you are, what would you have me do? Go back to lies?

My Apologies to Christians.
by AK - Jeff ini have, on occasion, pissed off many or most of the christians on this board.
i have forthrightly ridiculed you at times, but more often, i have lathered satire, or frothed sarcasm at what appeared to me to be inanely ludicrous viewpoint.. i must apologize, for i have seen the light.. i now understand that all of mankind's' plight can indeed be traced to a day in a perfect garden in iraq.
an eloquent snake overcame a naked woman with words that rang truer to her than the words of her master and god.

Can we have a day at the beach without pious Christians?
Can they not take a deep breath and see how crazy it all it?
*never thought I'd agree with Gregor*

Avi, you heated up the werewolf game in absentia last night. Your hotness was discussed at great length.

Great topic!
I practically lived here for about 3 years. It felt wonderful to not feel alone!
Gradually, I lost interest in the place. Kinda makes me feel bad because I used to always try to help the newbies who were waking up. Knowing how hard it was gave me empathy.
Then the place degenerated into political bullshit and JW trolls pushing buttons.
I didn't need that. The only time I check in here is when I feel a bit reflective or bored.
Great friends were made here for me. There's no way to name names without leaving out important people.
It does feel like Sylvia and MrsJones are my sisters. Hell, I even have a soft spot for John Doe!

Do more born ins leave the Org rather than those who converted?
by Little Imp inmy husband was brought up in the faith since around the age of three years old.. he stopped believing their crap when he was a teenager and indeed didn't attend for many years.
however, even though he moved over 100 miles away from his parents his mother visited him and got the local congregation to put pressure on him.
she also telephoned and wrote to him regularly to make sure he attended.. his parents in the past have been treated very badly by the jws (long story) but they are still in the thick of it despite being in their eighties.. my husband thinks that because his mother converted she could never admit that she is wrong and for this reason will not stop attending.. just wondered what others thought on the subject?.

I would venture to say the majority on this site were born-in and left.
