How do you handle extremely rude people in public?
by Virgochik ini'm so upset by two vicious women who came to my work today.
i was helping a man in my line and they tried to cut in front.
i politely explained that as soon as i finished with my customer, i would help them.

OK believers, time to put up or shut up...
by Gregor inapparently, a large percentage of xjw's who post on this site have embraced some other form of god/jesus belief to replace the wt doctrine.
most of them fall into the "i accept the lord jesus christ as my personal savior" class.
they are still extremely attached to the old "forgiveness of sin through the shed blood of jc" line.

Auld,
Soooo if I sink, I'm innocent. If I float I'm guilty........................ Stop the inquisition! I confess! I'm guilty of being a casual poster! You can relax, I'm sure your place in heaven has been assured, you have soundly beaten me into submission.
Please give my deepest sympathy to your wife. If you don't have one, then I thank you for not contributing to the pain, and suffering in the world.
By the way, feel free NOT to PM me anymore. You may have the last word.

If that dying child is over the age of say 8, then it's head has already been filled with the idea that not only is heaven a possibility, but so is hell. How is that more comforting, than going to sleep? And don't tell me 8 year olds don't worry about such things, I was raised a JW.

Wikipedia:
Josephus offers information about individuals, groups, customs and geographical places. His writings provide a significant, extra-biblical account of the post-exilic period of the Maccabees , the Hasmonean dynasty and the rise of Herod the Great . He makes references to the Sadducees , Jewish High Priests of the time, Pharisees and Essenes , the Herodian Temple , Quirinius ' census and the Zealots , and to such figures as Pontius Pilate , Herod the Great, Agrippa I and II , John the Baptist , James the brother of Jesus , and a highly disputed reference to Jesus .

The evolutionists by propagating the idea that man is an animal that came forth from animals encourage that regressive instinctual attitude that sidetracks mankind away from its true destiny which is a spiritual one.
Uhhh you forget, we have the hope of evolving.

Once again, I will remind you, that the original comment that you took issue with, had to do with the "let go and let god" attitude of christians. Even Galileo couldn't do that.
Also, my opinion of christians is from PERSONAL experience on many levels. You have not changed my perception at all, but rather have strenghened it.
Belief in spiritual things doesn't prevent (or inhibit) discovery.
But it CAN as you yourself stated. Answer this question for me. Have all scientific discovery been made by believers?
Now that I know you don't care whether you explain why you believe certain things, I won't bother asking you for an explanation in the future.
You have continually ignored my initial observation. Why would I care to explain yet again? ( Although I did in the first sentence of this post) -

God does not permit evil as such it is rather mankind that bring it upon themselves by failng to develop a culture of the spirit by accepting the gospel.
One more time, what about cancer and other terminal illness? Hits anyone without predjudice. How did mankind bring that on?? You telling me that "god" is making my family pay for Adam's mistake? How is that not evil? Sounds more like the Corleone family style.

Hypocrates believed in Jesus?? But you know what Auld? I don't care enough to spend any time looking for specific examples for YOU, nor am I worried about the actual answer to the question of belief. I am perfectly comfortable with my belief/non belief. Maybe you should read a few scriptures, calm yourself down, and hit the hay.
