I am scared for my life. Problems with punks.
by SnakesInTheTower inso i have been having problems with the renters that moved in next door.
the last 3 months have been a living hell.
i have an ongoing complaint with the slumlord that owns the property and the city is taking him to court for derelict vehicles next week (which i anonymously complained about, but i am sure i am being blamed for).

WT backtracking fast on Book Study -High Gas Prices
by stillajwexelder inso tonight the congregation discussed the front page of the october km -the new meeting schedule.
straight away it was emphasized it was not because of high gas prices that the meetings were being reduced.
it was pointed out that in parts of the world the brothers do not have cars so it was not high gas prices.

by Honesty intoday, i am 55 years old and all of the'anointed' jw's are at least 50 years old and there are over 9,000 of them.. .
between the 1959 and the 1960 memorial, 600 'anointed' jw's went to heaven and into the presence of god:.
1959 memorial partakers world-wide 14,511. .

All new anointed are just replacements. Whatever that means.
I thought the 5/2007 WT QFR changed the view on that after the increase in partakers. They backed off from 1935 being the cutoff and any new partakers after that year were replacements of former annointed ones that fell away.

New WT program for bounty hunters
by Gregor innotice to all congregations.
as of january 1, 2009 the society will be paying a reward of $100.00 and a lifetime subscription the the wt to anyone who turns in a fader who is successfully exposed and disfellowshipped.
this will be a trial program and if there are good results it may be expanded to include those who visit unapproved websites or watch unsanctioned entertainment.
