  can anyone provide me with any evidence (links to other sites is fine) that jerusalem could not have possibly fallen to the babylonians in 607?

  You are behaving as though you are in a court of Law it's a legitimate innocous question to which you are afraid to answer.
  
  I believe that the whole WTBS edifice is built on this dubious date and you cannot even contemplate a hypothetical question whose answer would knock the feet from under your organisation.

  I was going to premptive your response with 'please don't say my question is hypothetical' but i didn't want to insult you by being presumptous.
  So let me answer your question first...
  
  If it turned out to be 607BC then it would make no difference to me because I no longer believe in biblical prophecies as they are subject to interpretation as much as doctrinal issues.
  For example nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom could pertain to any period and maybe not necessarily traditional war.
  
  I'd appreciate a direct answer to my question. What would it mean to you if a tablet categorically said 587BC?

  Let's say that a tablet is found that conclusively dates the fall to 587BC. In this scenario what would that mean for the WTBS doctrine and for you personally. Would you leave the organisation?

  i have been using the same facial moisturiser loyally for the last 17 years - but i'm thinking what was great for me at 14 might not be so effective at 31. what most irks me when i look in the mirror (neck up early - we simply don't have long enough for what irks me below the neck) is that my pores seem really big and the overall effect is to make me look tired as the security guard at work pointed out when i left work last night!.

  my question is to you ladies (and cosmetically aware gents) is what is your skin care regime and do i have to switch to a really expensive brand sponsored by nazi sympathisers and advertised by supermodels to spruce up my skin?

  Models drink lots of water - 2 litres. You need to excercise enough to make your face red as this brings nutrient rich blood to the skin capillaries. Ensure you have a good diet. Stress adds wrinkles to your skin. I always looked much younger than my slightly older brother. He is really relaxed about everything nothing stresses him. Today we are in our 30s and the tables have turned - he looks much younger than me. So do all this and you can do without those creams.

  this time they really did call the police on me lol!

  there is the link, i was unable to edit the audio file like i usually do to take out the blank spaces and amplify the volume, so if someone could do that with the wav file on the server that would be great!.

  "It's amazing how many times people debate New Testament Scripture, but never the OT books! Why are the OT books alway all so sacred, and that the Jews were so good at keeping the canon and there can be only 39 books in their part of the Bible."
  
  Probably because they were better organised than the christians. The christians were writing whilst trying to establish themselves in a hostile environment. It seems the Jews recognised their prophets whilst they were still alive and took everything they wrote as kosher unlike the Christians who couldn't make their minds up.

  when you found out that this religion probably wasn't the one true religion like you had believed probably for a large portion of your life, or maybe even all of it, how did you react?

  my whole life belongs to the society.

  all my friends are witnesses, my family are witnesses, even my job is dedicated to the society.

  I just stopped going to the meetings but I took with me the JW mentality that was instilled in me for the next 20 years. It's only recently that I have really broken free from their ridiculous way of thinking. What a waste of time and life.

  It was easier for the Jews to convert because don't forget they were already primed for it. They were waiting for the Messiah, the Romans were running rings around them and so it was easy for them to believe that they were going to be delivered once again this time not by Moses or David or Ester and the list goes on but by the Messiah himself, goodness I would have converted aswell.
  Now how the hell they managed to convince the Greeks and Romans that their Jewish God was better than their Gods considering they had far superior societies is beyond me.
  
  Halucinating doesn't make you a lunatic. I think Paul was very clever saw an opportunity and took it.
