have i missed the boat?
never thought the system would go on so i would never face this situation....problem is my mum always told me how i was the firstborn after 4 baby deaths {this really messed her up and scared me} me and my sister who is married and 30 have had no kids....no grandkids for my family.
i'm financially well off, and without kids i spend money on whatever i want and have pets but....still feels abit empty.
Me and my wife started when I was about 31 she was only 25 here we are 8 years later at 20 weeks expecting on Nov. 22nd we tried for 3 years before we got pregnant the first time and had to go through 4 miscarriages. I will be almost 40 at the time and I couldn't be happier.
PM me if you would like we had a lot of trouble but we have learned a lot as well and my wife would be more then happy to share info via email. Over seas phone call could be expensive..

Very cool. I am working on a Linux project for work this weekend. Like Chicago politics I voted early and will vote often
as mentioned in my very first port here, i will now give my story and some thoughts i have so far.. i ve been lurking here for about a month, before i registered.
well, a few months ago something like that would be unthinkable for me.. i was raised as a jw, and serve currently as an elder in a congregation.
i have family, also jws.
First of all welcome. Second you are right at the beginning of a journey sometimes it will be scary and sometime it will make you angry.
But try not to let it push you too deeply into anger and bitterness. That was the worst part for me. Just lean on the wonderful people here and if you ever need to talk many of us have been through what you are going through.

after having been raised in the jehovah's witnesses for 44 years ( getting out 6 years ago ) i have now come to peace with my view of what i personally feel about the existence of god , or no god, or whatever is flying around up there in outer space.
i am basically agnostic for sure / perhaps leaning atheist and i've come to that decision based on the years and years of unfulfilled false promises of being in a mind control cult ( jehovah's witnesses ) claiming to represent an alleged " god " or " jehovah " saying there would be a paradise, and armageddon to destroy 99% of the earths population.
also- i enjoy helping others without thought of being rewarded for it.
