  Brant Jones Letters to and From the Watchtower- 2005-06

  thanks to scully, i have figured out where to put these letters so all that would like to access them and read them can do so.--just click on the link below.. don't expect a lot from the letters, as i am a brick mason and not the brightest bulb on the (new) christmas tree.. in my correspondence with the wt, i exerted all my effort to keep the discussion on just the un, even though i did have misgivings on other matters.

  i thought if i was able to keep the discussion on just the un that it would prove to be more difficult for them to disfellowship me, as it was their conduct that i was opposing, conduct that violated their own teachings.. it worked to some extent, as they had to trump up charges on us that we started our own religion because we had the memorial celebration in 2006 with our family rather than at the kingdumb hall.

  it was a real pleasure to be disfellowshipped for their sin.

  raymond franz was a member of the governing body of jehovah's witnesses from 1971 until may 22, 1980, and served at the organization's world headquarters for fifteen years, from 1965 until 1980. franz wrote and edited two detailed books which relate his personal experiences with the watch tower bible and tract society and fellow members of the jehovah's witness organization.. .

  after reading ray franz's books,i held him and his fellow members responsible for all the false teachings.

  i also wasn't forgiving any of them even if they found out that it wasn't the ''truth'' and left the organization.now i changed my mind.

  Its one of the great regrets of my life that I conducted studies and led people to get baptized in this org. that I gave talks that encourged people to be more active in this org.

  I don't like using Jehovahs' name anymore

  i must say the more and more i learn and find my way around my spirituallity the less i use the name jehovah.

  it just reminds me of everything i went through, reminds me of the ""bad"" and not the good of god.

  it reminds me of hypocracy and mind control.

  If nothing speaks to the reproach heaped on the name Jehovah (no matter if you believe or not in God, Jehovah or a Higher Power) this is it Jehovahs Wittnesses have associated the name with hypocrisy and abuse of power.

  new BS assignment, new threats.

  ok, so after about 2 months of straight absence from my bookstudy, the elders shuffled me off.

  apparently my current (actually quite kind, if a bit clueless) bs overseer was.

  not being enough of a nazi.. my newly assigned bs has a (aforementioned in another post) dimwitted, socially obtuse, and.

  ohhh yes the "How we can help you" speech I have been getting that one alot lately. I think the elders are trying to sort out the faders from the just over worked believers.

  OTWO and others with mates still in....please help!!!!!!

  i have always been a very social person with many friends....a bit of a partier my whole life.

  my wife of 11 years is not like that, and not like me in so many other ways....but hey, we had the third cord in our marriage (not god...wt).

  now since i am leper now, i have virtually no social life.

  Wow I wish I had some silver bullet solutions but all I know is for me and my wife I had to get her to agree to meet others on nuetral grounds. This ment to find couples with unbelieving or "weak" mates so the women could get support and the men could hang out without the presure to go to meetings. So far it has worked out really well this may not work for everyone but it is working for us. Take care man and I know how you feel I have been there.

  30 y/o Bros from TX move to FL, have a party with 16 y/o Sisters!

  we here in the fl panhandle were "blessed" to have some 25 ish y/o brothers from tx move here recently.

  they had the usual welcoming party two weeks ago, and all the young bros from mobile to fort waalton showed up to welcome them!

  the only thing was, there was no elder to supervise!

  When you set a system based on fear of men (which is what the WT does) people will always figure they can get around the men put over them. The young people in this org. do not have anything but a social order. Good for you sending this to the police I hope it make the front page of the newspaper and I hope th men al go to jail.

  Only for three reasons 1. not wanting to Give enough info for someone to figure out who I am (and I have been able to figure out who other people on this board were from their post) 2. Just like in emails sometimes what you mean to say is not how what you say is taken and so when in doubt I just chose not to post and last 3. So many here can say it better then me so I let them do it and when I can be of help I try to help

  i received a pm from another long time poster - this poster has been out about the same time as i have - his circumstances in getting to his place have been quite different from mine.

  yet, he stated he feels that he is in the same place re: religion, spirituality, etc.

  so last nite he calls - and we had a wonderful conversation.

  Yeah I have been able to find a few people here I know and PM them to make contact. Some I expected to find here and some I did not but even those I don't know I find I connect with due to simular circumstances. And anonymity is stil very important to me but I am finding it less and less important I may just come out of hiding soon.

  Austin TX

  is anyone familiar with this city??.

  i'm interested in a new position within my company and if i get it i will be based out of austin tx.

  i'd still get to keep my current residence but will be required to fly to austin on a regular basis.. i'm excited about the job but not sure about the city.. anything good/interesting there for a possible future frequent visitor to enjoy?.
