BTS Yeah I keep meaning to pick it up but I always forget I may pick it up this weekend. This was the first book of his I had read but it was very good.

Attention Book Lovers!!!!!!!
by whyamihere inok, i am on my 8th book this month - not too bad for this mommy.
anyway, i've gotten back to my previous life of indulging myself into books that you can't put down.
little children by tom perrotta.. excellently portrayed 2 unhappily married suburbans who's repetitive wrong choices impact a their dull lives, yet alter your own moral thinking of them being heroic in their quest to find happiness with a self imprisoned/trapped marriage they each lead.

"A world made by hand" by James Howard Kunstler is a fictional account of the world 10-15 years after oil has basicly run out and people have to go back to living like they did before cars and plastics took over. Fun read with a little of everything.

Let's Hear it For Simon -Thanks For This Board - And All it Accomplishes
by flipper ini think it's only appropriate to put out a thread to thank simon for the great job he does in moderating this board, watching over discussions to make sure that the purpose of jwd discussion stays focused .
i believe that he and the mods do a great job in helping this board along in it's journey - and enables us to have the freedom of speech- without having fear of reprisal - as long as the guidelines are met.
so, i for one would like to personally thank you simon - for bringing this board into existence, as it has helped many to be able to vent after leaving the jehovah's witnesses cult, and get support, and for others it has helped them have a great place to discuss many important topics that have a heavy play in many of our lives !

You will never know how much this site has helped me personally. It, quite frankly saved my life. I still have bad day's but without the support of this site I never would have had the knowlege of all the others to help me move beyond the opressive religion I was rased in. So Thanks Simon

article where the wbts pictured a train heading from 1914 to 1975 where the tracks ended.
her mom is a diehard witness and her dad was smart enough to stay out.

I am not sure bout that article but the one question I was ask on a sheparding call that I could never get out of my head is "Why did the Watchtower stop mentioning the end of 6000 years of human existance shortly after 1975" at first I brushed it off but as I thought more about it (btw this brother was bring this up in the late 1990's) I realized I needed to do more research sure enough they just stoped bring up 6000 years of human exsistance about the time they blamed the rank and file for wrecklessly speculating about 1975

Even when I did everything by the book (no R rated moves ect....) and averaged over 30 hours a month in the ministry while conducting a book study and giving regular PT's ect.......... I never once felt he loved me. And I guess that is my fault also....

News from Mother ship

2. major organizational changes about to start rolling out, one is changes to the "service committee" and titles, po to be done away with, thats all i know for now.
was told that if you are the sort of person that cant handle changes, you wont stay in the org for long.

2. Lösch is trying to become the new charismatic leader and challenging Jaracz more and more, he thinks the WT of the early 90's on education was the work of apostates and led to the major decrease in growth, Barr is the onlyl one really standing up to him.
If he is successful it really will be a quick fall for the old WBTS. And it does fit in with the new hard core stand on education.

How do you get a non-thinker out?
by Mickey mouse init's really difficult for me to strike up "spiritual" conversations with my husband.
i am far more studious than he is (hence why i'm the one here i guess!!).
his membership in the borg is purely based upon habit and family appeasement.
