hubby just came in from work and said that a gal that i knew from the kh had come in and they were talking about me.

she said that it had been announced back in '99 that i had been dfed, and she was shocked to hear that i had left on my own and the way that i had.

or are they just stringing the rank and file along, getting every ounce of work out of thier constituents, long enough to pull the next rabbit out of the hat?

those at the top, don't they see where they've made mistakes?

how can they continue in good conscience before the god they profess to serve?

If you're in "the truth" and believe it to be a load of pony, that's a pretty big deal if you still believe in the creator as your judge. You would surely see yourself as a false prophet and thereby one who diverts people from the true path of Christianity. That comes with severe penalties. Surely that even beats being "wordly" or an apostate?

To do what they do and not have any qualms or nightmares would mean they were without conscience, fear, or belief in a God who will one day dish out some nasty punishment.

i decided to start this topic when ozziepost shared the experience of a bethel representative telling him and mrs. ozzie "and don't forget, we've got your children!

it's important for us to hear these experiences and to share them with each other.

it helps us tear down the mistaken beliefs that the incidents that happen to us are not isolated ones, but are in fact par for the course when one parts ways with the jws and wts.

Unbelievable.

It made me wonder about my JW sister and BIL. Recently my non JW father died and they attended the funeral like the rest of my family. Would their warped minds see my father's death as a blessing in disguise? In other words would they think he had a better chance of resurrection by dying pre-Tribulation?

Great idea - I can't imagine Jesus wanting to visit a KH in the first place though.

Maybe an in depth interview in the Watchtower, which could be heavily censored and twisted would be more favoured by the Society, rather than an actual live talk?

Nativity Plays scrapped due to JWs

at a nearby school, the children have for many years performed a nativity play.

i hear now that due to the large number of jw kids attending the school, the play is now due to be cancelled indefinately.

this fits a modern british trend of political correctness where any risk of offence to minorities is identified and acted upon.

Dansk - I dont know how many JW kids are in this school. I'll try and find out.

Blondie - I dont know who made this decision but I also think its less likely to be the JWs.

I think they should try and integrate the JW kids. For instance they could play Inn owners literally and figuratively rejecting the mother and baby Jesus.

I initially found it surprising that there are enough JW kids to warrant such action. Maybe they should start their own schools? Or do they already have them elsewhere?

Has anyone heard of this happening near them? I personally feel that such action by the school will result in negative publicity for the Dubs. The pagans and wordly people around here are horrified.

in my mothers words, the last time we discussed the wtbts.. anyway, i said i would help them if they crossed out and signatured the part that gave access to their medical notes to the hlc.

I agree Gill. I've no idea what it's like in US hospitals though.

At our local hospital where I know a lot of medical staff, the HLC muppets are usually asked to leave quite quickly by Security. They're like a red rag to a bull to most of the staff.
