Best to err on the side of caution these days JG. What time in Tennessee did this happen?

A freaky incident just happened
by Junction-Guy inwell i was sitting here about 1 hour ago, surfing the net, and the doorbell rang.
that in itself is freaky enough, considering it was early in the morning, and as we have had alot of car burlaries here at the apartment complex, and i thought that maybe my car was hit and someone was here to tell me about it.. .
i asked who it was and he said "it's your neighbor", so i reluctantly opened the door ever so slowly and there was this young white guy in his 20's.

Who to buy what for / That would be for you to decide based on your knowledge of that person and their own individual taste.
How much do i spend? / Whatever you can afford.
What cards do i buy? / Christmas Cards
What do i write in them? / Merry Christmas ( good at this aint I?)
What do i buy for xmas dinner? / Not sure about that. Maybe the readers can help.

Happy Birthday Skeeter.
How come it's the last one you'll be celebrating? Remember you're already in your 40th year. The 40th birthday just celebrates the end of that year.

If man was to live forever, at what age would aging have stopped? 20? 30?
by NotaNess in20 is a great age for developed youthfulness, and 25 to 30 is as well.
if it was to be around say, 28, why wouldn't have 20 been a better choice?
why would it have been 35 or 40, if younger years are always more vibrant and healthier years?.

25 is when my ass dropped.
Golden Age once commented. . .
"Many have wondered how accidents would be avoided during Christ's kingdom, since we are told that nothing shall then hurt or destroy. Most accidents are due to gravitation and its effects. Falling from airplanes... etc., may be avoided by an individual negative gravity device."
Surely such an anti gravity device would be employed to prevent sagging butts, boobs and other vulnerable body parts?

WT in the business of selling cars????
by observador ini just received an email from a friend with pictures of what seems to be a wt-approved or wt-connected used car business.. this friend is telling us that the cars being sold are those previously used by circuit overseers.
he's giving us some links and pictures, but i haven't had the time to investigate, so i thought to put them up here for discussion.. the web address of the business is, quite appropriately, www.circuitleasing.com.
here are the documents made available by this acquaintance of mine:.

New generation change: blaming rank & file again?
by Ozner inthe worst part of the "1995 generation change"- implementation was for me personaly the watchtower study-article defining the new (or changed) doctrine.
the article mentioned that rank & file witness "thought" that the generation was related to 1914 because they want it so.
it hurted me deeply and i am still agry (12 years later!)..

Yes the R and F are always getting it wrong. Remember when they "misunderstood" the 1975 debacle? In July 1976 the WT printed the following:
... it is not advisable for us to set our sights on a certain date, neglecting everyday things we would ordinarily care for as Christians, such as things that we and our families really need. We may be forgetting that, when the "day" comes, it will not change the principle that Christians must at all times take care of all their responsibilities. If anyone has been disappointed through not following this line of thought, he should now concentrate on adjusting his viewpoint, seeing that it was not the word of God that failed or deceived him and brought disappointment, but that his own understanding was based on wrong premises.

Loved it. Watched it in the pub last night with some pals and am just starting to say goodbye to the hangover. Unusually clean match for a France/England clash but here's to another 80 minutes of stress next weekend.
LFC you're too kind to the Aussies, they bad mouthed us big time until we put them in their place,
