  Oh my god I hurt my dog!

  i realize with all the human hurt going on here that this may seem insignificant...... but right now its not for me.

  i purchased a large dog nail cutter today and was able to clip 38 nails (two large dogs) with no problem.. suddenly the last two nails i clipped started spurting blood as if i had cut their throats.. not a whimper from the dog, but i feel terrible for causing pain, and the trust he has given me.

  i dipped the paw into something to disinfect, wrapped it tightly with gauze, and fed him a pill to lower his blood pressure and make him nap.. he still looks at me with adoring eyes........ i feel so bad......anyone else experience this?.

  I've got two dogs: one's half staff and half pit bull which I got from a rescue centre after taking pity on her as no one wanted her. The other is hybrid American bulldog I got as a puppy as Mrs Clam thought she was cute. Anyway they had a major fight the other day some three years after living in peace. There was plenty of blood and I cleaned them up, but next day it was down the vets for the two of them, primarily to get some antibiotics. That's what I'd recommend. Any wounds then look for potential infection and treat accordingly. I've attempted to cut nails myself, usually with lots of aggrevation, but nothing beats walking them on tarmac. The nails soon wear down. Unless they have white nails, it's no easy task. Hope they're ok.

  today i am really pissed off at them...... i'm writing this hoping that two groups of people read this.

  either some watchtower people that monitor this site or people that think to join this crap!.

  If we are "free". Why are we still debating?

  this question is for all of us who were ever associated with the wts.

  baptized, ministerial servants, elders, pioneers, etc, etc.

  why is it that a lot of us call ourselves "free" when in fact we keep debating, putting down, hating, examining, analizing everything the wts does, did and will do?

  How many people would still be in the Watchtower cult? How many people would be broken and alone? How many people wouldn't know the "real truth"?

  Wouldn't the WTS just love it if JWD didn't exist.

  i have been speaking to a jw who denies that the wt ever condemned the catholic church.. anyone know of any wt quotes that do so.. have come across a few that just say that the catholic chutch did this ot that.

  Manchester UK to Oxford (Assistance Please)

  if you have knowledge about travel in the uk, i'd appreciate your assistance.. i need to get from the manchester airport to oxford.

  when i look at the train website (http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/index.html) i see there are trains that run frequently and seem to be inexpensive enough.. is that the best way to travel?

  i don't want to rent a car.

  You could also fly from Manchester airport to Heathrow in west London. then get the Oxford Express coach from Heathrow to Oxford which takes about an hour and is very regular. That's better than using the Underground and train I reckon.
