  Adam alone for YEARS before Eve's creation

  i went to my son's witness wedding on saturday and i was interested in the comment by the presiding oversear that adam was alone for years before god finally brought eve to him.

  apparantly he had plenty to keep him busy naming the animals, cultivating the ground and generally getting used to his environment.

  i just thought it was funny how after the 1975 failed prophesies they now have to say that adam was alone for years, whereas at the time they said he would have been alone a few months at the most.

  You have made the point that ex witness acusers need to know. We have nothing against the rank and file witness. Most of them are simply swept along by the constant indoctrination process. It is the governing body who make themselves hated by their complete arrogance. The 'We are the way, we may make some mistakes but that doesn't matter' attitude.

  This is the reason so many ex witnesses try to expose the org. My witness son 'says can't you move on Dad'. After being lied to for 20 years I want now to help as many as possable get out of this destructive sect. Also to inform interested ones what they are getting into.

  I could just walk away, but I really feel I have a moral obligation to help others.

  in the german issue of our kingdom ministry for september 2009, the memorial attendance is given: 269,303. .

  2008, there were 273,104 attendees, so there is a decrease of 3,801.. rather than stating that, they write: "that are 106,759 more than the average publisher count in the 2008 service year.

  an incentive to 'having plenty to do in the work of the lord.'".

  Gayle posted the figures 3 weeks ago. It showed a 2% increase in U. S. Better news was the quarter percent increase in the U K!

  Thanks processer for posting the German results. ( I feel I'm doing Eurovision)

  For me the worst one was the resurrection dirge. That was what we all called it. Don't know what it was really called. Something to do with 'Lazaras lay sleeping etc. Terrible. I hope for their sake any new songs are better.

  since i'm still suffering in this crackerjacks organization, these are some of statements that just drive me nuts.

  1. in service: "we are not here to convert you" funny how jws have the true religion but resort to deception and outright lies in order to get people to listen

  2. to other jws: "we won't have to deal with this in the new system" 7 billion evil doers dead and gone, no longer create problems for us

  I used to pioneer and regularly told people I wasn't there to convert them. Who was I kidding. I supose I rationalized it by thinking ' it is up to them if they accept the truth'. Certainly though the society wanted them converted.

  I am attending my sons wedding who is a witness on the 15th, If I feel brave enough I will ask the witnesses how they think things are going in the org!

  Sorry Gayle I realize now it was you who gave the U S figures originally to us 3 weeks ago.

  I manage to get a look at the UK kingdom ministry every month so I get to see their latest figures. Looks at the moment there will be a 1-2% increase in Publishers this year.

Wizards post several weeks ago, which showed the U S increase was 2%. Let's hope the rest of the world follow UK figures.
