607 bce or 587 bce

jerusalem 607 bce vindicated.

why jehovahs witnesses are right for sticking to the bibles chronology of 607 bce for the destruction of jerusalem.

arguments for 587 bce are scripturally flawed, causing four bible prophecies to fail.

Those 20 missing years is very explained (now I will be advocat for JW). The events was very far long away in history. It is very plausable that we just don't have discovered missing king(s). We don't know cleary all the history (except 607bc) so probably the missing Kings will be discovered soon before end comes. ;)
p.s. I am not JW, just can adopt their thinking for fun! They really don't like when I do that!

When you pray to God, who answers your prayers, Jesus or Jehovah?

so is it correct to say that if we ask jehovah something in prayer, it's jesus that will grant the prayer, since he said "if you ask in my name, i will do it"?.

i always thought that it was jehovah whom we pray to, and he was the one who would answer our prayer, not jesus.

Funny is that if you read originall this John 14:13-14 then Jesus is telling that if you pray ME in My Name I will do it! There 3 "ego" in passage - one is "ego name" then second is "ego will do it" and 3rd is to WHOM we should pray. But tradition translates it without specific mentioning whom we have to pray, coz it was pretty clear that we go to Father through Jesus. Can you go through door without going TO the door?

i have three cherry trees in my yard and the birds eat every cherry before it's fully ripe.

my brother-in-law has the same type of cherry trees in his yard and the birds don't bother his at all.

they are just about 250 feet from mine.

Birds have enough with your cherries. Birds don't waste food. They eat as much as they need. So they are used to your trees, there they know that cherries are free and they are happy. When I eat I am lazy and don't go 250m for another burger if I am full allready! :)

It is very eazy to mix "scare tactics" with "warning". You can call traffic laws and traffic incident statistics as "scare tactics too". But when nobody listens, you have to face the reality of ignorance. Even you tell "drive safely" to your friends. They can accuse you in using "scare tactics" too and attemt to control their behaviour. And actually what you are implying is that they drive unsafe, so at the end of the day you can be sued for insult.

why does james 2:21 say that abraham was justified by works and yet romans 4:2 says that he was justified by faith?

also genesis 15:6 says he was justified by faith?

In other words... James spits in face to those who thinks that "faith" is just plain knowledge of Bible or Theological grade. James tells us about real, strong, faith... which changes you in such a way, that God can work in you. Read Heb 11 too , there is similar chapter about such a faith which have consequences.

Paul is talking about Faith which saves. Faith is "hands" which holds onto God. James talks about fruits of love. James talks about alive real faith. Real faith is such a faith which produces fruits. Read John 15:1-5. So what James is telling you NEED faith to be saved, but not SOME faith, but very concreete saving life giving faith, which produces fruits. If you don't have such faith, you will not be saved. Works won't help you. You need faith and very special kind of faith. Coz demons believe too... but their faith is not saving faith.

people always ask what subject they should raise with their jw relatives.

the problem is, what is important to you is often of no consequence to me.

no one knows what will be the issue to change a relatives mind.

It's eazy. What they do is proove you that all other religions has faulties and have obviously different practice of faith then one talked in Bible. Then they will provide you with meny "criteria" for "true religion" and then they provoe thet WT is exactly one which fulfills the criteria :) You have to be clever to notice their assumtions from plain air. Ones who know what IS written in Bible will be able to ask questons. Others will be just "love bombed"!

The Challange of Faith

i stumbled on this site dong some research, i post now only for those you have not sinned against jehovah's holy spirit, since only jehovah knows this, some value might be taken form this.

i currently serve as the service overseer in my congregation, i have been an elder for over 10 years.. the fundmental issue that challanges every jw faith at some point are the imperfections of the wtbs, & those that take the lead sometimes make huge errors.

as a third generation jw with a huge network of elders, i have heard many bad things about those that take the lead.. some of these have effected myself and my family, this is the test, no different than what job faced, but it is more on the emotional and mental level.

There is VERY big difference in OT time and in NT time. Today we HAVE this way of being saved - Jesus Christ. Come to him and you will be saved 100% guarantee! More... CHRIST has came to you allready when you was not able to walk coz of your sin burden. Come to Christ that is all you need. All Lat needed to be saved in Sodom and Gomor - follow Angels (while Lord was talking to Abraham). Now you follow Christ personally. Have relationship with Christ, get to know him personally, talk to him, ask him for answers, seek the truth and you will find Christ, coz he is truth. You won't find anything else - just Jesus Christ as Paul - he didn't wanted to know ANYTHING except Christ! Call upon name of Jesus Christ and you will be saved as there is no other name given in the world in which we have Salvation. Do you have Jesus Christ? Do you allow all your JWs to have relationship with their saviour - Jesus Christ? Coz there is no salvation in ANY organization. Salvation is only in relationship with Christ, when you see Jesus you see God, when you talk to Jesus you talk to God, when Jesus talks - God talks.
