  That's simple. Her previous technique of being a hard ass, has failed, and this is a last ditch effort to manipulate and control you.

  By behaving this way, she now has you questioning the decision that you've made. Don't let her current passive agressive behavior dictate your life.

  If you were to change your mind and go back, it will soon be the same old thing again.

  You made the right choice by beginning an adult life.

  i have come to this board for ever a year now.

  one very openly obvious thing, that you notice within a couple of months.

  is that subjects repeat here, often.

  I haven't been here that long, but it's true that many subjects are covered repeatedly. I do however find it interesting to here the experiences from newbies, even though the question

  may be a repeat. And ofcourse we all enjoy the news that occurs from time to time. lawsuits, doctrine changes, campaigns, etc. etc.

  they were so silly.

  Ain't that the truth! Even 'spiritually strong' j-dubs have mentioned to me how unrealistic the dramas are when compared to real life.

  But then there are the other j-dubs that sit at the edge of their seat not being able to get enough of these ridiculous dramas.

  this is sort of fluff.

  one night while i was bored on the internet, i stumbled across some guy's page that was totally devoted to his study of the afterlife.

  in it he stated that when people die they go to the afterlife that they believe in.

  when i was in my teens, i had spent the night at a jw's girlfiriend's house.

  we stayed up most of the night but were required to get to the kh the next morning for the sunday meeting.

  i sat in the back row and apparently nodded off.

  my mom didn't use the wooden spoon, however I know of a couple mothers that did, even at the kingdom hall.

  As a youngin' I recall whispering to a good friend of mine during bookstudy. the conductor then called on my friend and I to share our comments with the rest of the group.

  We didn't want to share, so he proceeded to tell us to keep quiet.

  It's a shame this thread received such little attention.

  I think it's great that the two richest people in the world have turned their attention to charitable works.

  As successful as these two men are in their careers, I'm sure they will be equally successful in charity work.

  pick'em pool

  since our football season is starting up soon, i was interested in gauging interest in a non-gambling football pool.

  this would be for the professional leagues only, and could be picking winners straight-up or against the las vegas pointspread as posted by the usa today on the tuesday before the games on sunday and monday.. there would be weekly winners, and a season long winner.

  I've gone wireless!!!

  for years i have forgone using a wireless router at home... i never thought i would need or even want one.

  well, while staying at stevenyc's home in new york for a week, i have to say i'm sold!

  he has a great wi-fi setup and when i connected my notebook i suddenly discovered how great it is to be able to lounge around any part of the apartment looking at jwd and any other web site i'd like.
