Jesus is the means through which JWs offer prayer; that is his function. That is what it is meant by the office of Jesus. Nothing different from what mainstream Christians do.

Whenever I hear Christians talk about Jesus, I have to scratch my head and wonder what they're feeling when they describe that "he is the way." I haven't met many Christians who can succinctly define just what that means. At least JWs have a systematic and tangible devotion to Jesus/God.
i'm not excessively tall at just over 6 feet.
however, i must have been first in line when god was dishing out hands, feet and heads.
to date it hasn't been much of a problem except when i have to travel 25 miles to the nearest shoe shop to get a size 14 (uk).

Remember a couple of years ago when I posted about my heart problem? I had mitral valve regurge. You said since it's the mitral valve it shouldn't be a problem.
Did you have an angiogram done? I had successful replacement surgery but I'm on Warfarin too, 10 mg a day. You have to watch your diet and certain medications also interfere with anticoagulants.

Why?
I find that the only happiness I derive from the Bible and "God" is playing devil's advocate and pretending to be a JW when arguing with a born-again. Otherwise it means nothing to my life, and I'm more than satisfied with that.

Well I certainly will agree that the majority of JWs don't seem to be all that interested in starting Bible studies. If you can find a Witness who has brought 5 people into the religion by means of door to door or informal witnessing, I'd be surprised.

Jesus has no role or is unimportant for JWs? Maybe he was to you when you were a JW but I hear JWs talk about Jesus and being Christlike and imitating his example all the time.
