Adam was created in 4026 BCE. 6000 years makes 1975 AD. As Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath, the millenial reign comes at the beginning of the 50,000th year of creation. Year 49,000. But since Eve was still yet to be created, 1975 wasn't it. The creative day hadn't quite ended yet; Jehovah hadn't rested yet. So you gotta add Adam's age when Eve was created to 1975 to get the date for the great tribulation's start. That's how I remember it going.

Family tragedy.........HappyDad
by HappyDad ingot a phone call from my daughter who lives in florida a couple of hours ago.
her significant other who i chose to call my son-in-law (because he is the best thing to ever happen to her) got a phone call that his 6 year old daughter was killed in an auto accident near lake placid, florida and his 5 year old son is in very critical condition.
the ex wife is also critical.

At home recuperating from my surgery

just really sore but able to walk and get around the house.
the neck brace is the killer, i was itching and broke out in a rash.

I really have no opinion. I live in Buffalo where the worst we get are Super Bowl letdowns, one big snow storm a year, and recycled Johnny Carson jokes. Well, the city is broke, crime is still rampant, but whatever..........

Poztate, right now? Joe R. tossed out "character development" as quickly as he could in favor of advertising the kingdom. I don't know any JW who resembles Jesus any more so than my good neighbors and friends who aren't Christian in the least. Well, maybe caty's step dad elder (who, lol, came home today at 11:00, skipped the WT study in favor of some chores to help out some of the "friends" like fixing their lawn mowers for free).
Technically, 1975 is still relevant (if you ask some old-timers) cause however old Adam was when Eve was created ended the creative day. So if Adam was 40 when Eve leaped from his midsection then 2015 would be it.

Weddings, funerals, and the odd times I'd happen to visit Grandma when they were there is all I've seen of them in the last 20 years. When we were kids we saw each other more, naturallym My dad always told me the story of how when his brother, my uncle, was 17 and studying with a JW, the guy blew him off once on study night and he never showed interest again. Funny, cause at Grandma's house, the pictures of him, his wife, and their two daughters, my cousins, all "unbelievers" are front and center on the fireplace mantle. My family is the most balanced and off-kilter family in the world. But whattya want, we're Irish folk who only got into the USA by pretending to be Cornish.
