Schizm, I have been following this thread, I also would like to see you answer AuldSouls points. He made a point that I was thinking about as well. Jehovah's Witnesses themselves are just a splinter group from the Second Adventists. They are part of Christendom themselves. No better than anyone esle. In fact they are worse in many areas. Now instead of attacking me personally, why not try to answer AuldSouls points if you can.

Operation Tomorrow

just to let you all know why i won't be able to post for some time...i am finally getting in to the hospital for a much-needed operation that kept being postponed.

i have been back and forth to three different hospitals and various doctor's offices for tests, x-rays, consults and then more pre-op tests and x-rays.

(i have never heard of "nuclear testing before now...i wondered if they were going to send me to nasa!

Update:I'm back with my wife

these past few months have really been a roller coaster ride to say the least.

i know i haven't been posting much for the past few months, as i was really in a deep depression.

at the end of last month i moved back in with my wife and children.

SSPO: Welcome to the board. It can be done. Just love her and show her your love. My wife and I are getting along better now than ever before. I am determined to let nothing get between us. This includes religion. As far as 1 Cor 5:10.11 is concerned, they take this scripture out of context. You are none of the things quoted in these verses. You simply don't agree with WT doctrine anymore. I do not see this as one of the criteria for shunning you. But that is the way the WT uses mind control to control their flock. They will also use 2 John 10 against you as well. Again they take scripture out of context. One only need read the preceding 3 verses to get the context correct. Good luck with you and your wife. Keep us all posted.

4 What about speaking with a disfellowshipped person? While the Bible does not cover every possible situation, 2 John 10 helps us to get Jehovah’s view of matters: “If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, never receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him.” Commenting on this, The Watchtower of September 15, 1981, page 25, says: “A simple ‘Hello’ to someone can be the first step that develops into a conversation and maybe even a friendship. Would we want to take that first step with a disfellowshipped person?”

Again the WTS takes scripture out of context. If you read a couple of verses before verse 10 you will see that John was talking about the fact that some were denying that Christ came in the flesh. This is what John was referring to when he said what he did in verse 10. I find it so comical that the WT constantly takes scripture out of context to suit their own dogma.

Hello everyone,

These past few months have really been a roller coaster ride to say the least. I know I haven't been posting much for the past few months, as I was really in a deep depression. At the end of last month I moved back in with my wife and children. I am so happy to be reunited with them. Words cannot tell you how much you miss them until you are gone. My wife and I have a understanding, we wont talk religion. I will respect her view of the WTS, and she will understand mine. As far as the relationship with her goes, all I can say is that its like dating her all over again. I can't believe how well things are going this time around. I'm more happy now that I am Disassociated ( I thought I was Disfellowshipped but told by an elder recently that since I told 2 of the elders off at the gas station and told them I no longer wanted to have anything to do with the WTS that I disassociated myself). Oh well same difference. Anyway, since I no longer have any strings to hold me back in whatever I decide to pursue in life, I'm seriously thinking of going to a community college here in town and finally getting a degree in communications as I have always wanted. It feels so good to be FREE.

Thanks to all of you who over the past few months who have asked about me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
