  AuldSoul, you were one of the first guys to welcome me to the Forum a week ago when I joined. My hats off to you. Congrats. Some day I hope to join you. Haven't gone to a meeting in over a year.   The scrip you use at Rev 20:7 is good, but you forget one thing in vs10 it talks about Satan being tormented day and night forever. The WTS says this is symbolic not literal. So You cant have it both ways. Either the entire chapter is symbolic or it is literal. Any scholar will tell you this. The WTS has a great way of interp scrip to fit its doctrine.

  Thats correct. The tetragramaton is nowhere to be found in the original greek text. Yet the WTS inserts it everywhere in the NT. WHY????? The WTS has a hard time with a few scrips that blow a hole in the earthly paradise gig. According to the Tower everyone up till Jesus death will have the earthly hope. Then how do you explain Mt 8:11 and Heb chapter 11???

  I said the Apostles in the New Testement NEVER preached it. Dont you think that if the majority of people as the WTS claims have an earthly hope, that something that BIG would be mentioned in the NT. But its NOT. NOT one time. Think about that.

  Hey JH, those scriptures you quoted can also refer to heavenly life. As well as the other famous JW scripture found at Rev 21:3,4. The apostles NO WHERE in the bible preached a paradise earth. If you find ONE scripture in the NT about a paradise earth please show me?

  okay now i will give you time to pick your jaw up off the floor while i explain what i mean.

  i now belive that religion is just one of the many forms of control that the powers that be (hereafter refered to as 'tha man') use to control people and keep them under foot.

  we know how the current administration uses the religious right to keep the electorate in line, but i also believe the wts serves tha man in the same way.

  Thats funny, the elders haven't come aknockin at my door or even bothered to pick up the phone in the past yr or so. Im really suprised since they know Im reading and surfing" apostate websites". Im all prepared to go to their little kangaroo court. I want to embarass them and have it on tape so we can all have a good laugh. Guess they know that and are leaving me alone. So much for leaving the 99 and trying to save that lone sheep huh.

  I agree with Kenneson, first of all the case is closed. But I still feel a nice program on the media will go a long way. Say 20/20 or 60 minutes. Go at it from the freedom of speech angle. I would love to see a top interviewer ask the WTS the BIG QUESTIONS and see them squerm trying to answer them. Have a Happy.
