ok as you have gathered im a wittness and i for one beleave we have the truth.not saying every thing is or has all ways been right because we live in a imperfect world with imperfect people.but as far as jehovah being God and jesus being his son.and the coming war of arrmegeddon.i would say we have the truth.i no about all the mistakes and misunderstandings we have had in the past.but i feel that is past and we have moved on.and abandoned i no what you all say about the year 607 being wrong but that date all deapends on it desolation was 70 years or not.so im just trying to understand how some of you say you lernt you was being lied to?

144000....DO THE NUMBERS ADD UP?????
by chuckyy inas jws we were told only 144000 go to heaven from the time of christ right up to this day.it dawned on me before i was baptized one day during my study that the numbers dont add up.
the brother was telling me that the roman persecutions of the christians were killing thousands every week.
initially, within weeks of jesus death, there were 5000 christians at least in jerusalem.

we both agree that over the period of 1900 years.there was 144000 selected what your saying is any one who professed to be christian would be granted to be in that class of 14400 correct?what i was saying was jehovah would of selected ones he felt were to be rulers with christ.or are you telling me you new the hearts of all these people who lived through the 1900 years?

hi i hope i can help you with your quetions please mail me andi will answer your questions.as from the answers you have all ready recived your proberly feel very confused.but please dont pay atention to them.a lot of these people left the jws for many diffrent reasons and then complain to a computer every day about it.i can assure you that jehovahs wittnesses are a God loving people who do there very best to serve God.i can tell you first hand i dont serve the watchtower i serve jehovah God.these people were ovesley serving for the wrong reasons.but thats there choise and there lose.if these people honestly felt they were serving the watchtower they them selves are admiting they didnt serve God.
