Does it really matter if it's the end of your life or the end of this "system of things"? Either way the point is to endure. It's the end of life in this world. Your end may come at death or the second coming.

Are there any religions that worship God but do not believe in an Afterlife
by jwfacts init seems that people only worship god for the reward of a resurrection.
people normally do not admit that, and say that even if there was no resurrection they would worship god for the life that he has given them.
a good indication of whether this could be true is if religions existed that worshipped god but do not believe in a soul or resurrection or everlasting life.

The ancient Hebrews emphasized the importance of the present life over the afterlife. As with both the ancient Greeks and Mesopotamians, the afterlife, if it was considered at all, was conceived of as a pale shadow of earthly life, much like the Greek Hades. Also similar to the Greek Hades, in the Hebrew afterlife no distinction was made between the treatment of the just and the unjust after death. Instead, rewards and punishments were meted out in the present life, and in the covenant "contract" Yahweh promised to do just that. -

PO reads a special letter tonight...
by JWFreak inour po...who is really full of himself....reckons that he is reading a special letter tonight, he says he isn't allowed to tell fellow elders before the public reading.
just a word of caution....our po...is one who loves all the mystery and secrets, so my inkling is that it will be a crock of crap.
however it may prove to be interesting...i will tell you after meeting tonight.

Can anyone possibly help? Considering the wide audience of this board, I was hoping someone had seen this before. If someone could post the picture here, I would be grateful. I'm on a mac and have complications doing certain things.
(I'm also going to feel really bad if it's a view of the Vatican or something!)

..The Meal in your Key Board..
by OUTLAW inwe`ve all done it..your busy on the computer....pretty soon you realize..you`ve been on the computer longer than you thought............your hungry!........so what do you do?..you go into the kitchen grab some food and get back on the computer..you go to take a bite..and..food falls onto your key board and in between the keys..........god what a mess!..same thing with beverages..sip a beer....and..some of it gets on your key board........how many meals are in your key board?!..lol!

Recent Literature Letter Sent out -Bound Volumes
by stillajwexelder inbriefly it stated that all those who make extensive use of the cd-rom should seriously consider whether or not they need bound volumes.
these have to be next on the hit list of things cut imho
