I think this shows people who worship people with made up feelings instead of using their brain. I personally prefer worshiping God by studying the Bible and living as a Christian day by day. This yelling out and speaking in tongues deal seems a bit of a show and empty. Or at least that's my perception.

I did enjoy those clips. I think I might watch the movie. I think I could learn from the documentary.

What kind of changes would you make if you were the President of the WTS.

i'm just curious, if you could imagine taking control over the jws.

as an acting president, what specific changes would you make to .

the organization to make it more approachable, livable and attainable for the general population ?.

I would first get rid of turning in time/pioneers and counting numbers except attendance at meetings.

End disfellowshipping and all JD committee issues must go to the police if legal matters.

Come out with new light until they finally believe like mainstream Christians.

Announce the former apostacy of the old GB.

Tell them that we now believe that the org is not God's channel but only the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

Encourage them to think for themselves but realize that we must all believe in Christ.

it's official; they read the letter tonight that puts forth the new procedure.

if you find an expelled person in the field or are studying with one, you are no longer permitted to give them lit.

presumably the elders make a decision if an expelled one is regularly attending meetings, but only they can give them lit.

I always bring up stuff to my mom when there's new light or whatever. She says "I see you are still reading the literature -- I think you'll come back one day." I usually tell her that I heard about the article from an apostate is all .. lol

But now I think I can use this. I can say something like, "I heard that they will not allow me to have copies of the WT and Awake now. They must not be interested in your daughter returning to Jehovah if they would do that."

I found the pages of some in my old hall and their pages are MUCH more worldly than my friend's pages.

I would write letters to all in my family telling them that on my deathbed I am still sure of my decision to leave the JWs and that they should examine things... (more info why after that)

Then I would set up my will that they could have ten million dollars to DA from the witnesses--the payments would be spread out over the years and not one big sum. They would also be required to attend church at least twice a month at the church of their choosing. They could do it at any time and they would cease payment if they ever went back -- and have to pay back what they got too.

I would teleport to my dad's location and spend two hours begging him to talk to me ... I would go to my mom and tell her goodbye and beg her to leave them.

I would then have about 20 hours left. I would take my fiance to sandestin, fl and we would eat the bucket of seafood at the dock in the village. Then we would go spend the rest of the time talking on the beach or in our condo.

yesterday i bought a pair of jeans, and i don't take the same size as years ago.

from 31 inch waist 10 years ago, i buy 33 inch waist jeans now.

a few years ago, i bought many pairs of jeans, and didn't wear them much, thinking i'd be the same weight all my life....lol.

Yeah ... I throw out the ones that get too big when I loose weight so then when I put on a few, I have to go buy bigger ones ... and then I loose and throw the big ones out (see a pattern here? Its like WT reasoning)
