  Thanks to humble truth-seekers repeatedly lying to get a membership, no new memberships are being taken at the moment. Check back in two weeks.

  I tried to comment. Apparently they do not accept applications from apostates. Funny that they do that after making the comment that they sent in some information to a Baptist Ex-JW and he didn't respond ....

  Time is the most important thing. How long do you think it'll take to get from Squaw Valley, Ca (close to Tahoe City) to San Francisco? I looked it up on google and it seems to be about 4 hours. Do you have any idea if that's close? If we leave Tahoe at 6:00 that puts us there at 10:00. That was the plan...

  Am I highjacking the post? I hope not -- sorry if I am ..... I hate to start another one over something so unimportant.

  Oh I have a great suggestion: When you drive to San Francisco, go west on highway 80 until you come to the 580 freeway which will take you through Concord and Walnut Creek. You will still be going west toward SF but when you go through the tunnel to the Oakland/Berkeley side you will get a view of the Bay Area that will knock your socks off.!

  The plan was to drive to pittsburg, ca and catch the bart and then take it into the city. Is that a bad idea?

  Hey two weeks from today I'm going to San Francisco.

  The plan is to fly in to Reno on Sunday about 12:00 noon and spend the night in Tahoe City. Then drive to San Franciso very early the next morning, spend the day and then drive back to Tahoe city late that evening. Then we'll fly back to Mississippi Thursday.

  That said -- does anyone want to be a tour guide? LOL. I am so afraid I'm going to get lost in San Franciso!!! I am so not a big city gal!

  So....What Do You Think Happens When We Die???

  I think we all go to something like sleep when we die (not completely unconscious). I believe that because of Mary's comment when Jesus was about to resurrect Lazrus -- She said "I know I'll see him at the last day"... And also that Jesus preached the good news to the spirits in prison. If he was preaching to demons or lost souls, he wouldn't have good news to tell them. I think he was preaching good news to spirits who were asleep.

  The real new heavens and new earth and glorified bodies happen after the resurrection. That's the real "hope" we are looking for.

  I know that it must be something we really can't understand or else it would be more clear in scripture.
