those who make things happen.
those who watch things happen.
those who wonder what happened.

nahhhh..................not really, reading here is far too much fun!....inactive?....yes.
a troll?....if you say so.......a twat?.....sometimes..........please feed me i'm hungry.. lol.
come on forum brothers and sisters this site goes round and around in circles, there's only so many times you can talk about "your worst meeting" "kingdom melodies i hate that i can replace rude words too" "bill bowen is worse/better than ray" " the circa 1949 wt says...." "i'm outta the borg(tm)" "your favourite witness?.....i hated them all" and my favourite..."hello newbie, you're amongst friends here, we look forward to your posts", but don't you dare, ever ever step out of line and not tow the ex line here, after all we're the enlightened ones now and we'll trash you without any understanding/concern"........this site has become a cult in itself, agreement at the kh is called brainwashing, agreement here is applauded, unless you disagree (no dissention in the ranks allowed) and on and on...........quit the judgement of others you say you struggled hard to escape from and hated, we're all humans looking at the end of the day for answers.
Snax: "from some theres such a nasty undercurrent of hate, not nice."
Not nice, but sometimes necessary. I've myself sometimes posted what I consider rather strident comments, usually because the topic drew up from inside me a shot of venom that I needed to just cough up and get rid of.
Part of the healing process.

i just got back from the palms casino where i lost $60 dollars.
that had to be the worst game of poker i have ever had.
i got home and everything just started coming to me.
Double Edge : "Keep us posted... you have friends here... and NO, it's not pathetic.... "
Right on! Most all of us have gone through one or more extreme, almost crushing, episodes like this. Within this last year, I was laid off (out of work for 10 mos), was diagnosed with a severe health condition, went through a divorce (after 17 years of marriage). I was reeling from all the punches.
I'm now back to work, cured of the physical problem, and found my soul-mate (getting married this Christmas).
Just hang in there, Gil, and hang here with us. Life will take a turn for the better.

what is the sweetest or nicest thing somebody of the opposite sex has ever said or done for you?
or what would you want somebody of the opposite sex to say or do to you to make you all happy inside?
i'm not looking for sexual things here just things that make you stop and go "ahh how nice".
Honestly, the sweetest thing I've heard in 15 years is the first time Katie called me "Sweetie," the way she said it, the circumstances, my own need to be loved.
My heart just melted totally away, and it just keeps getting better and better.

earlier this month, the supreme court of the northwest territories rendered judgement on this case, involving grandparents rights of access to their grandchildren and their right to expose the grandchildren to their religion.
practising jehovahs witnesses.. tracy ewanchuk (respondent): the mother of asia and alecsa.
a second is that he views their exposure to his religious practices as something that is healthy for them.
Score one for the powerful hand of Caesar, and HOORAY that those kids will not be raised as brain-numbed JWs. May they live happy and long lives.

the road to god's "truth", divine truth, is the same.
it takes real, real "effort" before truth, divine truth can be achieved.
and therefore, they could not give it to us, this divine truth.
link, I agree. I used to find such elaborate investigations intriguing, and though I could wade right on in with all kinds of "stuff," I much prefer:
KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID

being just ignorant former dub i just decided to give our children names and that was it.
i admit i had to twist her (never jw) arm a bit, but no problem (also we did not celebrate xmas.).
a while ago i saw mention about baby shower and (as a native finn) i had no idea what was the meaning of the words.
Ironic that a JW can have a baby shower but can't celebrate the birth day of that baby.

i know we were taught to study all the wts stuff.
prepare for each meeting, prepare for service, (gotta know the articles) etc.
i mean with all the personal study to do, how could anyone have time for newspapers, novels etc.
OH yeah, did I ever study. Read every old pub I could get my hands on, all the volumes back to the day I was born, researched in Hebrew, Latin and Greek...sheesh.
But, like SaintSatan said, I was blind, though I thought I could see.
