i very strongly tend to be totally open and honest about how i feel and what i think.
fwiw, I think this exchange between Farkel and Xena is an excellent example of honesty without demerit.
My non-participation in threads that provoke unnecessary confrontation is proof enough that I don't subscribe to that dimension of "honesty at any cost."

Hehe...reminds me of a particularly unpleasant job I got at Brooklyn Bethel.
In the Towers Hotel (back when the WTS was leasing only 3 floors), someone decided to drop a lot of beer bottles down the plumbing vent pipes (a roof-top party, no doubt). The result? Every toilet from the above 10 (?) floors poured out into the 2nd floor...unspeakable , simply unspeakable
I was tasked to do the cleanup. Took a gallon of bleach and threw it all over the place. Then a wet vac, sucking up turds and cigar butts.

I, for one, have no desire or expectation that WTS will change. Sociological and historical precedents make that highly unlikely. Individuals, yes, but the Borg...no.
As far as this db is concerned, I can only say that reading the posts of others here and seeing the responses to my posts has been the single most liberating experience I've ever had.
I stopped my moaning about 2 months ago. My new life has started, BIG TIME.
