  i had a conversation (debate) with my disfellowshipped husband about "the truth" that he tries so hard to protect.

  me: hey, babe, can you tell me again why jw do not celebrate birthdays?.

  hubby: well, only two are mentioned in the bible, and on both, men were killed.. me: well, herod and pharoah killed men whenever they felt like it right?

  why do jws claim to not celebrate christmas and/or birthdays, but will accept gifts?

  why don't jws celebrate christmas/birthdays?
