From the moment I read your reply to my post, I KNEW where you were coming from. Heck, way before I even started posting on the jehovah-witness forum, I was a frequent lurker of your web page. So no worries.

Apparently, some people didn't "get" the gist of your post and my reply to it, and I got a few e-mails stating that I was "full of anger and rage" and "you are just an angry little man". Well, the people who e-mailed this, did the "one shot number". When I replied to their e-mails, lo-and-behold their e-mail address didn't exist.(boy, now I wonder who THAT could of been?) Probably blocked, or a temp e-addy. Also, a few people in the chat were a bit dense on the post, and were confused. So, in order to stop the e-mails and questions in chat, I posted the topic. Hence my "disclaimer" in this post: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=27923&site=3&page=2.

So no worries. In the "live and let live" post, I should of included something to the effect of "Tallyman, this isn't for you but for the trolls who are e-mailing me". That was my bad, for lack of clarity of whom I was posting for. Sorry 'bout that.

My thoughts on terrorism

i was reading some news reports on yahoo about suicide bombings likely to happen here in the us.

what irks me the most are statements made about the justice departments inability to track visas issued to foreign students.

i remember watching a portuguese newscast via satellite tv sometime last october.

The power involved within the belief of : "WE have God/Allah/Jehovah on our side, and no matter what we do, even if it's taking human life, we are justified."

When that thought becomes a reality in one, or many, minds...how does anyone battle that? Someone (or many) who dwell in that "reality", has now gone beyond any earthly sense of authority...and have a "faith" to back it up.

Coming from a U.S. perspective, the WTC/Pentagon attacks was something I saw coming. Not the actual method, mind you all. But an attack of such scale. When Timothy McVeigh blew up the Federal building in Oklahoma, an immeadiate thought (after the shock) I had was: "Oh my god, every anti-western fundalmentalist group is going to say, 'If one of their own can do it, so can we'.

Did the U.S. "have it coming" as I've been hearing as of late? My personal opinion...NO. How does the murder of 3,000 people (in planes and buildings) ever support this idea, is beyond me. Regardless of any past "transgression"...murdering people is not a justified cause.

I'm not ignorant to the fact that the U.S. international relations with the global community, isn't sparkly clean. It's down right dirty. Most of the U.S. population is ignorant and unaware of U.S. foriegn policy. But murder on this scale in ANY country is NOT justified.

When you become informed of the various facts in these situations, it makes the operations of the WTBTS look like child's play. The multitude of elements involved with global politcs, it sometimes brings my mind to the brink of insanity trying to have an "objective" view....just even trying to sort the massive web...just to find a single "reason" for it all.

All I know is, people are getting murdered for the most part because of money and politcal power, and everyone's hands are dirty who play the game. There are no "clean" players in this arena. We kill some of them, They kill some of us. They kill some of us, We kill some of them. A vicious cycle that has been going on and on way before any of us were here....since people were painting the walls of caves.

It started with King of the Hill, and the methods to gain that position, always walks on the skulls of the dead. Innocent or otherwise. The unending cycle.

Make it stop ... please.

my parents became jws when i was 5 years old, so it was pretty much the only way of life that i knew.

To my friends, some reflections...........

i have had a week to reflect on my life and was thinking about what i have seen, what i am going through, and where i am going.

i know many of you here experience unbelievable pain, suffering, anger, depression, and disbelief.

i have lived with these myself.

You said it best by stating taking care of your family. If that's what you need to do, that's the first priority to attend to.

Every effort against tyranny is considered a valuable effort. You saw something unjust and stood up against it. That path alone, very few find. Very few take.

You stated it yourself:

What I have seen the Watchtower turn elders, overseers, and the governing body themselves into are cold shells of human beings that care not for their flock. It is about position, rank, power, money, and ego.

And the questioned to be asked: "Did I follow that path?"

You could of ended up at the end of that road, but you didn't. I don't see shame in your decisions, since the end result came out for the greater good. You could of ended up tangled in the mire of being a "cold shell of a human being". You didn't follow the path of the corrupt visions of the WTBTS. You listened to your heart and chose the harder path. To be yourself, to stand up against tyranny, and to do what is right.

Justice sometimes comes in forms of tiny cracks in a foundation. A voice against the unjust here, a stand against injustice there. Many voices added together, soon form a collective of cracks, that bring the whole thing down. The cracks you contributed go to the core of the corrupt.

Now is the time to start healing and picking up the pieces, tend to your family needs. There's still plenty to do, and plenty of us to do it. Embrace the freedom you've earned, for you and your family.

Wish you and your family, only the best in the journey to come.

Ugh...informative article...but too clinical.

I wish there was an aspect of explaining such findings in a non-clinical way.

I enjoy those warm summer evenings underneath the stars, within the soft embraces of a sleeping bag. Nothing more then the wind lightly playing within the leaves of tree tops. Soft tender caresses on her cheek, moist lips kissing her forehead...looking deep in to her precious....eyes....

I just finished watching Mulholland Drive (for the third time this weekend) and my head hurts. Even after visiting various web sites to get a "better understanding" of the movie....my head still hurts. So, I just don't have the energy to post anything creative about the morons of the above article.
