by katiekitten inim sorry i havent been on the forum for ages.
but like the prodigal son i have a problem now, and i would really appreciate some help and input.. i found out at the beginning of the week, by a slip of the tongue from my daughter, that she has been told by her dad to call his new wife 'mum'.
daughter is 8, and on questioning has said that she feels she might get told off if she doesnt use this term.. i initially phoned her dad to ask if this was true, and he told me she uses the term all the time and 'its none of my business'.

Lets say you went to a meeting, list what would irritiate you...

in my case, it was always the length of the meetings that bothered me.. no matter what meeting it is, you have to get there prepared, and that means lots of time reading the darn literature.. another thing that would irritate me, is all the magazines that come in faster than i can read.. i'll let you guys add to this list.. .

oh yeh, they battle it out in all weather. Some of them cold but still leave their homes and then spend late out. Studying at home a lot when they could be enjoying grandchildren and/or family.

its hard to say but i like the question!
- Younger kids. Some weird and wonderful memories, wondering why mum/dad do things and then trusting them
- Teenagers. Told Masurbation is wrong, don't get a chance to try proper dating.
- Adult - Single parents, managing on low wages or family that put their problems last. Marriages women or even men want to get out of but are scared cos they don't wanna get disfellowshipped or reproved.

So p*****d off - need to offload
by neverin ini am so angry - i've been a long term lurker here and an occasional poster but i have just got to offload tonight.
mom and i have never been 'in the truth' but my dad and 2 brothers are.
tonight my dad told me that last night he resigned as an elder (which for me personally is great) but the reason is that because both my parents have health issues, especially mom, my dad has been given 6 months to get his act together and put some more hours in field service as he is 'not leading by example'.
