Generation Change

i left the org slightly before the change in the "generation that was alive in 1914" thing was announced and wondered, what were peoples in the congregations reactions after this was announced and did it you notice people falling away because of it?

has it had a damaging effect?

i remember people being really meek about it and grateful that the HS was still guiding us and enlightening us.

interesting isn't it? no one questioned why the HS didn't simply guide us with the correct information in the first place.

crushes? many times.

funny thing though, i had a dream about a married bro last night. he was like "it's my birthday, what are you gonna get me as a gift?" and due to the fact that my arm was in a cast and i had no control over it, i "accidently" slapped his ass. He was all like "ohhhh" and i gave it some thought and finally answered "maybe that's just a taste of what's to come".

to me it's interesting that the talk given to bethelites asking them to leave for the new downsizing effort contained the phrase: go home and start a family.

that must be a slap in the face to those who stupidly if not sincerely obeyed the misguided direction to refrain from having children because we are so close to the time of the end..
