Now, show where that says Saddam caused 9-11.Or, does the meaning of the words "consitent with" escape you?

More from Bush on Saddam's lack of involvement on Sept. 11th
by Aztec insept. 18 president bush took the unusual step of denying categorically that his administration has evidence that connects saddam hussein with the attacks of sept. 11, 2001. weve had no evidence that saddam hussein was involved with september the 11th, bush said.
but critics say the damage is already done and that the administration deliberately kept the theory alive.

Jefferson Davis because he is the most misrepresented President, but lived by his principles.

Here's one for ya....
by Flowerpetal indid you ever notice that when someone was disciplined in the congregation (df'd or reproved) and maybe you got wind of what is was for, it then seemed like a lot or articles in the wt magazine or public talks appeared on that person's "si?
" like they were being disciplined by jehovah?
did you ever think that or did you think it was just coincidence?

More than anything else, I would see "local needs" comments in talks afterwards, if it was a big enough deal.

Disgusted and ashamed to be British
by Simon indavid blaine has been in his box for two weeks now.
during that time it's become a daily event for people to go and throw eggs and other food at the box, people have also fired golf-balls at him and other objects and someone has even tried to cut the cables holding the box from the crane.
people have also tried to shine lasers into his eyes and othe 'clever' tricks.. it's disgusting but typical of the yobbish, mindless behavior that is becoming too common in the uk.. i'm ashamed to be british.

Actually, Simon, I believe that the ones who do that are in the minority, but get the big press. Be ashamed of them, but don't be ashamed of your heritage. You Brits have a rich heritage and one that even though there are parts a bit shakey(like anyone else's), you should be proud of.
Don't be disgusted with your whole country due to the misconduct of a few morons.

Believe it or not, today, on the radio, I did hear some environmental group has come out and said the hurricane was indeed caused because Bush hasn't signed on to the Kyoto agreement and that pollution from the US is causing an increase in hurricane activity. Of course, no facts to back it up.
Makes me wonder if the ancient Indians along the Atlantic coast foresaw the furture and blamed them on Bush centuries ago?

He didn't ever outright say it! He implied all kinds of things about him having links to Al Quaeda.
Links to Al Qeada and being behind the Sept 11th attacks are two entirely different things. The media keeps saying that the meeting between Saddam operatives and a top Al Qeada official are very thin, but the country, Switzerland, I think (not sure which one) says they are strong. Who do we believe? There is supposed to be a report coming out soon detailing much of this and I'm looking forward to it, myself.
However, I do have to agree that politicians aren't high on my list of most liked either. Anymore, it seems to be which one is the lessor of two evils. And even there, we all cannot agree. But, in this case, I feel much of what is coming out of prominent Democrats to be quite dishonest. The media could use a dose of honesty too.

I've been on and off this board....
by Flowerpetal ini just felt moved to write my feelings.
if you all want you can look at my posting history.
just ignore stuff i said then.

Flowerpetal, good to see you posting. As you already know from our emails, I DA'd, but feel maybe you would be better off doing a slow fade, if you really wish to leave. As you said, your spirituality comes first and there are other groups with similar beliefs as the JWs and not so constrictive either.
Just remember, you always have a friend out here in the Northwest.

LOL, Double Edge. I was actually thinking more of Hillary Clinton and how fast she came out after the big blackout in the Northeast recently blaming Bush for it. But, we'll wait and see how our brothers from the other side of the pond react

At least he hasn't been blamed for the power outages there, yet!
