OK Animal,
Will you feel better if I said Bill Clinton. I liked him because he was the playboy and jerk he wanted to be and accepted the heat. He not only messed with the young intern but did the same to the country and we all kind of enjoyed it. The only thing that disappointed me is he didn't stand up and say "Yeah! I did it. So what?"
Not to mention the economy was the best ever during his 8 years.

I just came to the realization of a dreadful paradox.
I subscribe to the Republican philosophy but I can't think of one republican president I like.

If Nixon had won in the 1960 Presidential Election, I hate to think what might have come from the Cuban Missle Crisis.....the world might be a very different place right now.
He also was not a perfect president, but his push in Congress for the civil rights issues was right on target.
He was definitely my favorite president.
