  if so, how did this relationship manifest itself?

  my sil has been fighting stage iv leiomyosarcoma (which in incurable) for over 2 years now.

  there have been quite a few ups and downs in her treatments and her prognosis along with way.

  she is a full time pioneer and has been since shortly after her diagnosis.

  Prayers may help (placebo), but not because a personal god is looking down and deciding to grant the supplication.

  An interesting website, sometimes cited on this forum, has to do with why god does not answer the prayers of amputees.

  The site is called something like "Why does god hate amputees?"

  Google it.

  In a nutshell, people can pray until they are blue in the face and an amputee will NEVER regrow a lost limb. NEVER EVER.

  All things are possible with god .*

  *Except regrowing limbs for amputees.

  you'll find boredom where there is the absence of a good idea earl nightingale quotes (us motivational writer and author, 1921-1989).

  let's forget that most members leave due to the wrong beliefs,doctrines and practices of the wts!.

  i was bored out of my mind from the repetitive: talks,prayers,ministry school demonstrations,field service talks(peddle magazines),assemblies,special talks and watchtower magazine study articles.

  Weekly waste of time = (5 hours) * (number of congregations in world) * (number of attendees)

  i was thinking that maybe they must be, as the wt recently told the jws that following the gb was like following god (no mention of the f&ds).

  can someone post that wt quote from a few months ago?

  jws must have noticed that the faithul and discreet slave were left out and they will start asking- "where are they?
