  i'm moving on.

  i want to express my gratitude to members here who have steered me right when my own compass was stuck.

  i know i didn't put much effort into becoming friends with many of you and i'm sure that i'm the loser for it.

  United Nations Library - The Forbiden Fruit? (kind of long)

  i am in the process of writing a letter to my mothers sister (aunt) about the un/watchtower fiasco.

  my aunt will not speak to my mother or father because they are d'fed (for the un/watchtower fiasco).

  however, i guess she thinks that i am a weak link and she sent me a letter, basically, stating the same thing that all jw's say in defence of the watchtower.

  Per Loruhamah,

  The sell out of their (supposed) relationship with Jehovah for a LIBRARY CARD puts me in the mind of EVE, and later ADAM, selling out their obedience to Jehovah for a piece of fruit.

  There were plenty of trees to eat from in the Garden of Eden, but they just HAD to have that ONE.

  There are plenty of LIBRARIES in the world, and especially in NEW YORK CITY, but they had to have just that ONE.

  Of course all of us know that the Library card was a poor sick excuse for them wanting to USE the UN for their own ends.

  When the Watchtower dumped Peter's words in Acts 15, they lost their AUTHORITY to discuss the issue.

  I happen to believe now that "abstain from blood" was a dietary protection rather than a medical statement.

  In 1997, I turned down blood after a car accident that could have led to my death. It didn't as you can see, but I have a change of heart on the issue of blood because of all the fine information and arguments that I have seen on this DB.

  But, in all seriousness, once the WT left the basic premise of Acts 15, "abstain from blood', there was no longer any basis for their discussing the issue.

  They are a religious (false) organization, not a medical organization. They should keep their mouth's shut and their non-Bible based opinions to themselves.

  I can see Jesus Christ and Jehovah sitting up in heaven saying that the sheep should be scientists.

  my dell inspiration 8500 is dead.

  dell replaced the motherboard 3 times under 3 year warranty and it died again, now out of warranty.

  now i'm shopping for a new computer.

  i think that quote is from the book of matthew.

  now i don't discredit the bible completely some of it is folklore but some of it might be relevant.

  of course you might pull out the same prophecies if you read nostradamus so excercise caution here.. i was astonished last night when i read my local newspaper " the vancouver sun" there was a sattelite photos of the arctic shrinking by 50%!!

  My only suggestion is to require them to make their formal charge in writing and back it up with the Bible verses that you are in violation of.

  If it is apostasy, which I hope is the case, they will refuse. Then just tell them you refuse to meet with jerks who refuse to be men and stand behind their charge.

  I would also like to read bob's letter. Where is it?
