gb losch seems to be the top dog for dumbness.. in the local halls i've seen and heard many dumb elders open their mouths.. one elder had a fondness for bible prophecy and watchtower chronology.
he always speculated on what the "watchtower really means" about a statement in print.

1: Talking to an elder as to why the society is not taking action against my wife's molester father and other molesters, he said "Well , can't because maybe we could judge someone who is innocent!" 2:Recently a friend who's father died after being very quiet in the ministry and meetings for some time had a local elder come to her door , and as he was telling her how low spiritually her father had been he proceeded to give an illustration by gestures......crouching down he says "this is a spiritually weak man" ...and then gradually coming to an exaggerated upright stance he "this is ME a spiritually strong man !, MAYBE Jehovah will ressurrect him!" This was supposed to encourage her in her loss!!!!! I worked with this guy in FS and he is always gives these wacky and sometimes cruel illustrations even from the platform. I'm so glad I don't have to put up with this human refuse anymore!

This has happened before in the 80's here, we were given a stern talk that video or tape recordings were no longer permitted when talks from the platform were given ,only tapes sanctioned by the local elders on the halls equipment for the disabled who could'nt attend the hall were allowed. The same for assemblies ,and I remember some still brought cameras on tripods to assemblies but not as many ,but the ones I saw were owned by higher ups ,as I was told went I worked in the security dept at assemblies ........the alarm bell started in my head around this time

There was one late 50-ish elders wife in the Burpengary Congregation who was a bit of a sly one....you know the type, always wear the shoes that hide her toe rings and blouse to just hide her navel ring at the hall ,but catch her in public and look what you see...no different from the "world" lol

Unexpected JW reaction
by cameo-d ini talked to a jw i know and got an unexpected reaction.. i mentioned some of the "conspiracy theory" stuff i have heard...about one taken, one left behind ...and what i have heard about people will be picked up in the middle of the night and taken away to "places".
this jw took it right in stride and said "yes, that's the way it was done when the nazi's started.
many jws were killed then...blah blah".

The WTS angle is that they will be saved as a group but individuals may suffer ,of though this is what most JW's would like to believe and take the comfortable option for themself personally. THEY MAY HAVE TO BRING BACK THE BOOK STUDY ARRANGEMENT SO THEY CAN ALL SECRETLY KEEP IN TOUCH LOL
