  DOES YOUR HUSBAND WATCH TOO MUCH TV?

  Mine watches the Sci-Fi channel all the time and nothing else, unless it's a bloody- gory war movie with guns and guts! I get SO bored! Even on a balmy summer evening, he sits in front of that crap. He won't come for a walk with me & the dog, or sit on the patio to chat over a glass of wine with me. So, I just go by myself. I get tired of the TV running all the time. It's like he doesn't know how to enjoy peace & quiet, or read a book. He was raised that way, what a shame.

  That's one of the few good things I can say about being raised a JW child... I learned to read and enjoy books. I wasn't allowed to watch much TV, and so I read a lot.

  Went to San Antonio and didn't talk to mil

  i haven't spoken to my mil in a week and took a sunday off for myself and went to san antonio.

  saw the alamo and had a late lunch at joes crab shack yuck!.

  i had a good time and walked on the river walk and it was beautiful.. i am a bit tired but mentally refreshed i am told that i am being selfish and uncaring.

  Hambeak, why do they pester you on your cell? And I don't understand why Jake doesn't tell them to piss off? Glad you found the daytrip refreshing. You set some limits with them. Would you be happier living by yourself, and free? Just a thought. I could've been happy living alone in my little house with my cats and my privacy, but hubby talked me into getting married. That's OK, too, I guess. Take care!

  They changed my work hours, drastically!

  i used to start work at ten a.m., and get off at seven p.m. wow, now they tell me, monday morning, i start at six a.m!

  i'll be showering in the dark.

  i'll be going to bed about eight-thirty.

I was used to staying up till ten-thirty, to spoil post on Crazyblondeb's thread. Now everyone will post after me, because I have to go to bed early like a baby! In the summertime, it'll still be light when I go to bed.

  Seriously... can anyone suggest good ways to adjust my body clock to the new sleep schedule? I'll go from:

  Going to sleep when it's dark, and getting up when the sun shines thru the blinds...to:

  Going to sleep when it's light, and getting up when it's still dark out.

  Any suggestions appreciated, meantime, boy will I be crabby!

  Total Lunar Eclipse tonight! Visable everywhere, most visable UK etc

  skywatchers eagerly awaiting saturday's total lunar eclipse say that the spectacle could be the "best in years".

  the eclipse begins at 2018 gmt, with the moon totally immersed in the shadow of the earth between 2244 and 2358 gmt.

  Tired and grumpy

  worked all week and not doing anything tomorrow just rest.. other half is upset i won't cook and clean for the folks.. too bad let him sulk.

  i need a day off too.

  guess i am just being selfish as i am told kfc is the order of the day.

  Trouble in Paradise??

  i was having a look at the accounts of three local congs as i had heard a bit about the borg beginning to run low on cash as donations are falling.

  locally, i was very surprised to see the cash flow problems of these congregations.

  i had a look at other areas and saw that there were a minority making a small 'profit', a lot breaking even when it comes to contributions and a fair amount that are losing the plot financially.. congregation 1. accounts for 2005/06 income was short 19,000, yes, their expenditure was that much over their income.. congregation 2. accounts for 2005/06 income was short 11,000.. congregation3.

  Are they hiding the money somewhere, to show a loss on the books? Just a thought. You know how a little theocratic dishonesty is OK. Thay way, they can keep claiming to be non-profit and all that.

  march came in like a lion in northern minnesota.

  there is a blizzard warning through tomorrow night.

  i checked a weather site and the wind is blowing at 52 mph (that isn't the gust speed).

  Hey, frozen one! Looks like a good day to go door to door!

  Bad day here in Colorado too... I-25 was an ice skating rink with some pile-ups. I was off yesterday, watching the freezing crud and snow falling, looking out the front window and laughing. It's sweet, when this weather happens on your day off & you don't have to go out in it!

  Got proposed to today

  a very nice lady and very pretty who has been coming in for a few weeks now, is starting to become a fatal attraction.. she comes in for the most idiotic requests and has asked me out numerous times.

  i keep giving her some excuse for not going out.. i can't tell her i am gay as that can destroy everything at work here.. any ideas?

  i don't want to hurt her feelings or stop her from spending her money here as well as sending her friends and neighbors.
