Those nutjobs really think the utilities will still be cranking out electricity and they can just help themselves to the IBM property? Doesn't jibe with"Zero" Angelino's speech describing bodies everywhere, stacked up in alleys, birds eating on them, etc... but meanwhile, at Warwick, the power stays on & gleeful minions are clicking the mouse over at IBM. There is a reason the mass exodus hasnt happaned yet
by nevaagain inbefore i was fully awake (i was never really) i would use the time at the meetings for day dreaming, for solving work related problems (in my mind) or just simply not fully listening to the talks.
after awhile everything just sounds all the same to you, nothing new.
think about it, i was really disappointed when they got rid of the announcements part, because actually thats the only part, where you could have heard something new (when the announcements where not from the kingdom ministry of course).

Crazy Study Stories
by dubstepped ini never really had any studies to speak of, but my parents did have many over the years, and every single one of them was batsh!t crazy in some way.
there was one lady we kids affectionately termed "dirty robin" (her name was robin) and yes, she was very dirty.
her kids were filthy and rarely wore clothes.

When I was a toddler, my parents studied with an elderly couple living in a tiny Airstream trailer parked out in the country by the corn fields. They had a problem with rats, big ones, chewing holes in the walls inside the trailer. Occasionally one would be seen running across the room. I wonder now what my parents were thinking, bringing a child inside that place. You had to keep your feet up on the couch too, because there were these rodents scurrying around, and fleas too! The husband spit tobacco juice in a can and the place was just filthy. They just wanted company, and I think the study was eventually dropped but that I don't remember. -

Any thoughts on the real reasons for droppng the 'school"
by sparrowdown inmy thoughts are.
1. they want to avoid being made to comply with any laws that come with anything classed as a "school" especially a school with children enrolled.. 2. the mid-week meeting has been dying in the ass for years and needs a revival.
i predict happy -clappy-sing-a-longs to be included in the program.. anyone else have any thoughts ??

I remember trying to come up with a lame setting. It seemed to be the same old ones. Oh, I see you are having trouble with that dryer here in the sketchy public laundromat. I want to share a scripture with you. Did you know that soon, all our clothing will be perfect, just like us, and will never need suds? Plus, Jeehover will make all the dryers run like new!
Omg. I'm guessing the same ol' was too much to bear in it's ridiculousness and nobody has that kind of time any more. Not that the Groping Buddies (GB-tm) would care about that, but if people just aren't participating or showing up, and it was problematic week in and week out, they had to do something.

Anthony Morris explains how God gives Decrees to man! New video edit.
by Wasanelder Once ini took the most recent video on "obey" and edited it down to its core.
here tony explains that the decisions of the faithful slave are arrived at "collectively" but are not a "collection" of man made decisions.
it would be comical if it weren't so sad.. tony video.

Seriously, I wonder if he even believes in God, because if he did, he'd be afraid to utter such blasphemy! -

If so, this could cause the elderly to be frustrated and bewildered. My mom can't get the hang of her tablet and has been quite sour about it. I'm told she really enjoys"the ministry." If door knocking loses importance, she will really feel like she's not needed any more. Truth be told, she probably isn't, because she no longer has any money to advance the world wide jerks, I mean, work. -

It came in today's mail
by Virgochik init came today, the dreaded envelope containing my personal copy of "return to jehovah" from my elderly, desperate mother.
it included a small note asking me to read it over and to let her know what i think.
she got it at her assembly.. firstly, i'm angry that she continues to push her religion on me, given that i stopped attending meetings over thirty years ago, and very offended that she assumes that i still want to be a witness, which is her choice of religion, not mine.

It came today, the dreaded envelope containing my personal copy of "Return To Jehovah" from my elderly, desperate mother. It included a small note asking me to read it over and to let her know what I think. She got it at her assembly.
Firstly, I'm angry that she continues to push her religion on me, given that I stopped attending meetings over thirty years ago, and very offended that she assumes that I still want to be a Witness, which is HER choice of religion, not mine. I've shared with her how close my relationship is with Jesus, which I never had before, and that I hope to go to heaven. She ignores anything I have to say, and goes back to "you need to come back to meetings, you'll see how wonderful the Paradise earth will be." I said I want to be with Jesus in heaven-
I'm stressed. What do I do next? To me, it seems like I can either:
A) Ignore the envelope, like so many others before it, and act like nothing happened. Then she keeps sending me more.
B) Kindly tell her to respect that I'm an adult woman and I've got my own beliefs, have a heavenly hope, how miserable I was at the meetings, to the point of panic attacks and anorexia, and there's not a snowball's chance I want to go through that again, how they've become like Pharisees, adding to the things written, doctrinal flip flops, the blasphemous Gibbering Blobby and how I believe Jesus wouldn't even recognize them as his followers. If Jehovah's blessing ever was with them, I believe he's removed it. I could go on and on about the back stabbing, politics and malicious gossip I saw as a child in the congregations. If I take this route, I will stand up for myself and force her to see me as an adult in her mid-50's. I'd probably lose my mom forever too, as she might shun me. She's quite elderly and I'm her only fleshly child. My husband suggested returning the envelope back to her. This would break her heart and she's in poor health. I don't want to kill my mother.
Can anyone see something I can't, since I'm flustered, as to how to get her to quit mailing piles of JW materials, without tipping her off and getting shunned? In spite of my bitterness at how I was raised, I do care about her and feel a responsibility towards her; she's a little old widow lady now.
If I ignore her stuff, will she be told to cut off ties with me? Is this it?
PS, could someone please tell me how to reply to posts? I want to reply sometimes, but couldn't figure out how.
Many thanks!

I love Scotland! I'll always remember getting a coffee while waiting for our rental car in Edinburgh, when a man came on the loud speaker to admonish travelers: "You shouldna leave yourrrrr carrrrrrrrs own-ah-ten-deed!" I asked, what did he just say? Loved the highland cows and the Dewars distillery tour in Aberfeldy. Heard Amy Winehouse's Back to Black for the first time at a pub in Pitlochry. Couldn't get my hubby to stop raving about haggis, even tho he knew what they were made of. We've been to Scotland a few times, and always want to go again.
Loved the funny video, thanks!

My mother texted me that she was going to the "Special meeting" today. She's almost eighty years old. All she mentioned later was goimg out to eat with the friends, so nothing earth shaking was said, or it went over her head. She is not a deep thinker but had a "lovely day."

Manchester dogs home burnt down in suspected arson, more than 50 dogs killed..
by defender of truth inhttp://m.bbc.com/news/uk-england-manchester-29182471.
........ "more than 50 dogs on the verge of adoption died in the inferno.".
can you imagine how terrified those dogs would have been?

I just read a 15 year old boy was arrested for the arson. Sick, twisted little waste of oxygen. Heartbreaking for the staff to have someone wreck the shelter they work so hard at. Im thrilled so many were outraged and donated generously.
