My doctor sent me home from the hospital with Percocet. Over half the bottle is still in the cupboard because they made me sleepy and queasy, and I just didn't have bad enough pain to need them anyway. So, I guess I'm not susceptible to pill addiction?

Vicodin, the not so innocent addiction
by free2beme inwith the thing that happened with kennedy today, it got me to thinking about how many people i know who are addicted to vicodin.
they always think it is no big deal, as it is not meth, or any other well known and notorious drugs.
plus, in their mind, they label what they take as okay as it is not listed as illegal and doctors do give out the prescription.

a huge heart covered in flowers stood behind the casket during the service.
following the eulogy, the heart opened, and the casket rolled inside.

I got a Huge compliment yesterday........
by whyamihere inone of the salons i go to asked me if i would like to be a model for a new product....(skin tanning product).
they want to take pictures of me, and have me up in some of their salons.
i don't get paid, but i get a few perks!

Like Blondie said, the police station can be counted on to groan and roll their eyes when asked to locate the Witless
nestheadquarters. They get calls from gated communities and secured condos and apartment buildings where the clueless Dubs climb the fences or deceive their way into the vestibules, where they deceive some more to get to the doors.Where I came from, they actually thought people would be happy to see them! It sometimes sank in, they really were supposed to stay out, when the homeowners' jaws dropped and they were asked, "How the hell did YOU get in here? I'm calling the police!"

*Gawd I Am SO Embarrassed*
by Legolas inthe lady that is buying our house had an appraiser come here today what was supposed to be 10:30!
so 10:00 i finished cleaning up and i was hot so i was just walking around in my underwear ( i had my pants downstairs with me though..lol) and i was in our office which is in the front of the house by the front door, which no one uses, when the door bell rang...so i walked past the front door, not looking out at the door into the living room to hurry up and put my pants on...i ran to the side door and no one was there!...then it hit me...he's at the front door!
gawd i hope that he didn't see me...

When you were a witness, did you ever wonder where the GOOD witnesses were?
by BizzyBee ini grew up in the borg and can remember feeling a disconnect with the portrayal of witness behavior in the literature and what i actually experienced.
the stories from the yearbook about people wanting to study with witnesses "thirsty for knowledge of the truth" were so different from the responses i got in the fs, where people just seemed annoyed.
the pictures of happy folk and families of all colors looking toward some ray of light, united in the love for jehoober and each other, did not square with what was going on in my congo.

When I saw all the mean spirit and cliques, gossip and backstabbing, I just thought maybe it was our congo, that we were spiritually weak. Then, I found out the reason my parents switched Halls, was because the last one was even worse!I heard lots of dirt, as an elder's kid. The CO played politics with his favorite elders, and was mean to the others. The elders were rivals in popularity contests, and I couldn't figure out how they were guided by holy spirit, when they bad mouthed and back stabbed each other so much.
I get it now.

i was helping a man in my line and they tried to cut in front.
i politely explained that as soon as i finished with my customer, i would help them.

Yes, I'm just back to work 8-9 hours a day at the Post Office, on my feet all day, dealing with the public. I'm a little tired, as I did have a hysterectomy. Most days, it's OK, but those l
adieswomen really burnt my butt. I didn't know I was touchy about it, until they pushed my buttons. Thanx for asking!
