(((HUG)))) I am sorry hon. I used to have suicidal thoughts, I thought that if I were able to kill myself, I would take my life, but I would save my parents b/c maybe it would open their eyes. I dont know if that would help or not.
But I realized that it was the wrong thing. Stay strong, you have us here. That might not sound helpful, but just talk to us, and we'll be here to listen!

by ArtfulDodger ini see this site gets thousands of postings every day .. from literally thousands of members, mostly ex-dubs, from all over the world.. rather than simply go on moaning and whinging about the big nasty org why don't you all put your efforts into something positive ... do something.. ok - the org is evil .. but it exists ... and simply whining on about it doesn't change that.
with your efforts directed at something positive, you could do wonders for .
.for anything you choose.. hundreds of real charities could do with your support - to help the really needy .

Last time I checked, I work three jobs, volunteer, go to school full-time and when I get time I come here... so I think I do stuff.... and if you don't like that, then you go and do something for me.... thanks!

I think you are beating yourself up too much for this. We all make mistakes, which this doesn't seem like its that huge. But hon, you just need to let it go. If you feel the need to pray - pray - God will forgive you. Just give it time and hopefully you will be able to forget it. -

In one of your posts on here, you said, "For it is written." Well the bible was written, it was rewritten by the JW's to mold it to what they wanted us to believe. They put words in the bible and changed things around and added things that shouldn't be in there.
Now tell me, is that the sort of religion that you want to serve? Its not about loving Jehovah, its about mind control and doing what they want you to do. Every religion around can profess that they are the one and only true religion, but sweetie, you have to realize that if God is a god of love, then why wouldnt he let everybody know its the right religion? Going door to door isn't doing that.
You have a lot to learn and a lot of questions to ask. And I know none of us are attacking you or trying to be rude in any way, but most of us have had to learn the hard way. So please go into learning about the "bible" and the "truth" with an open mind and open eyes because once they have you, its not good. -

Ahhhhhh, I'm a grandma...kinda
by lola28 inhehe, my cat had her kittens last night/ this morning, up till an hour ago we thought she had only had four kittens but we found a 5th kitten this afternoon.
i only slept an hour last night because i stayed up checking up on her and the kittens, i am so happy and just wanted to share!.

I just remembered why this date sounds familiar to me, May 8
by Mulan inon may 8, 1955, i was baptized.
i was 9 years old and it was a special baptism on a sunday.
for some reason, we didn't have a circuit assembly in the spring that year, so they just held a baptism.. what were my parents thinking?

That is a long time ago and you were so young. How can someone so young make a decision like that? I was at the meeting unwillingly with my parents today and 10 years ago, my dad was baptized, just thinking about that is sort of freaky.

I don't know what I count as - I would think came in (at the age of 10). I was old enough to understand, but young enough to be confused about certain things(why christmas and my birthday were being taken away from me).
