I am sorry to hear about that, but you need to talk to your wife, make sure she knows that you love her no matter what her parents says, or her parents say that Jehooba says. Just be honest with her without yelling or getting mad. Do you have any kids?

In-laws getting in the way...
by roflcopter inmy marriage has been hitting rocky roads lately because the in-laws know my stand as far as what i feel about jehovah's witnesses.
every 3 days or so they send my wife a letter full of propoganda and how she needs to come back home, yadda yadda.
it truly is recking my marriage.

Disfellowshipping in America- more commonplace
by dido inwhen i was in the states, texas to be accurate, i attended some congs and got to speak to a few people, and i couldn`t believe how many times individuals were d/f, sometimes 3 or 4 times, and they were also married the same times as well, in the so called `truth`.
i did feel that it made a mockery of the `truth` as in england, most people are only d/f once, very rarily twice or more.
i know america is more advanced in many areas, good things and bad, but i was shocked at the ratio out there.

I DA'ed myself once. I'm probably working on getting DF'ed or hopefully fading sometime in the near future. Although, I went to the KH with my parents today and their bookstudy conductor wants to meet with me to have a "shepherding call." I blew it off today, but we're going to have to have it eventually and I'm not sure what I'm going to do.... maybe it will be my second time, and I don't think I'll be going back...

Halloween
by Wordly Andre inthis past weekend i decorated my house for halloween, i know its early but i had a free weekend and i love being the first on my block to decorate, i have celebrated halloween for almost 17 years now, i think halloween and christmas are my most favorite holidays.

Wow, I am baffled by all the BS they are throwing out there and how naive the JW's are. How do they know people will still meet? I was sleeping and my fiance at the time (ex-now) came in and woke me up and said that I needed to see something important. He held me on the couch as we watched what happened. I then got a phone call from my dad saying that my cousin was in there, and I started freaking out.

That is a good point. I wonder that too... the only thing in the US you can do underage is drive at 16m but you do raise an excellent point!
