I've noticed with my boyfriend and I that we don't say any sort of goodbyes or I love yous anymore. I think our road might be coming to an end. But no goodbyes... but with everyone else I say goodbye.

Saying 'goodbye' on the phone. US style?
by ThomasCovenant ini can't help but have noticed that the us tv and film industry more than not portray phone conversations finishing without any 'goodbyes'.
someone will say, for example, 'see you at the mall' then put down the phone.. is this a reflection of the norm in us land or just filming priorities of time and money?.

I don't give them full credit. I was in school and learned how to do some of that stuff on my own too. But I do give them credit for helping to be able to give presentations in front of people and how to talk in front of groups.

Were you allowed to use the bathroom during meetings?

one abuse i use to see involved the denial of the bathroom to children during meetings.. .
in the kingdom hall i attended like most expected children to sit still for two hours during the meetings.

We were only allowed to use the bathroom once during the meeting and if you had to go again then when we got home we would get grounded or yelled at.

I try to take full responsibility for all of my actions, but sometimes I find that I say, "Well, its not my fault, its what was taught to me." Or I find myself thinking that its okay for me to do certain things because of the messed up childhood and teen years that I've had. But I try to think that I do take responsibility for my actions.

Bad Day !
